Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Published

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

Is there anyone who would be willing to send be a Perrla formatted paper. Of course I would not be able to copy it. I just am in need in seeing what a completed paper looks like. Off to sign up for Perrla!! :)

Any chance you would help me thru the first couple of papers? Winter?

Little vent here:

I am trying to finish my discussions for ethics this week and I just can't do it. Every original discussion post is the same, all these nurses are stating that the Hippocratic Oath is the same as the Nightingale Pledge.... I want to just unload on them with both barrels. They are not drawing comparisons like "The elements of the Nightingale Pledge mirror the requirements of the Hippocratic Oath, blah blah, blah."

No, one person stated something like, "We stood and took the Nightingale Pledge, also known as the Hippocratic Oath, blah, blah, blah."

All I can do is shake my head......

Seriously? I'd s set them straight because stuff like that annoys me

I attempted to reply, got a warning. All I really need to say is this is a most unusual thing. I have never heard of such a reference in a paper, in school, etc... Whoa.. I must be a sketchy person!

Do you think they are thinking they are MD's? And seriously why would they want to? That whole discussion Rob sounds a bit skewed...

Thanks, can you give me a short cut to the links I need to just see what a paper looks like?

Serious! I am just not in the right state of mind. If the instructor doesn't care why should I? I am just a little frustrated because being correct is important. They (or I) don't have to be literary geniuses, just have some sort of idea what we are talking about.

Finished my paper today and got a TII score or 1%. Will probably get a decent grade but don't think that it is as comprehensive as the rubric wants. Not much you can do when you only have 1200 words to work with. Too bad I am over by 220 words, and she states she would not want us to go over in word count.

Break can't get here fast enough.
