Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Thank you, that is reassuring. What do you all tell your academic advisor when you say you want to switch classes? The truth? LOL
GET ME OUTTA HERE!! (Actually saying "it's not a good fit" seems to suffice).
We are going to sit out for a week and then do the leadership class, then sit out another 2 weeks to get the Capstone instructor who is supposed to be really good. :) It adds 3 weeks to my graduation date, but better safe than sorry.

Ha! Wow, you are almost there! Congrats! Can you PM me the capstone instructor? Who knows if they will even be teaching it still a year from now...I'm only getting started! Also, the instructor that caused you to want to sit out the 2 weeks? Have you heard anything about what Capstone is like? I'm new to all this so I haven't found any one in the same boat as me yet. Thank you guys for being so helpful! :)

Can you PM me?
A lot of the work is already done for them----Really all theyhave to do is just mark papers/exercises, some do offer more assistance, more input into the papers
Flames9_RN --- I wonder how they grade? I'd hate to have to read all those papers...look at all the PPTs... very monotonous. Maybe there's a program that picks up certain things that are required in the paper. Much like HR does when they review a resume. I really have no idea though...
Hey all I have been reading this thread and I too just signed up for the RN to BSN program. I will be starting March 17th in the Professional Dynamics course. I am just wondering how busy are you with all the assignments? I work night shift in a slow ER, and am also looking at getting my yoga teacher training cert over the first two months of classes. Do you think this is feasible or are the courses pretty busy. Just trying to get a feel for what I am in for :) Been out of school for 10 years and this is a bit intimidating going back. Thanks!
It all depends on you. I think the first few courses are fairly easy! I'm not even sure what course # I am on,lol I'm just finishing up Stats and it has been the most challenging course thus far. Up until stats I had a 4.0, and I will just miss that 4.0,lol Oh well!!
The ones I see struggling are the ones that don't know how to use MS Word or PowerPoint. It is an online course, so.........
If you are a good writer, you can really zip through things!

The first few classes are easier. I am gonna be starting classes #9 and 10 March 10th. I still have my 4.0 it is doable.
