Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
I kind of worry about writing in APA style, I have never done it before. Have you known any good tips, I looked at the resources at GCU and Owl lab writing center, but wonder is it the first paper of Professional dynamics requires writing in APA style with abstract?
I haven't studied for a while, so somewhat nervous. Do you guys using a GCU template or PERRLA?
I use PERRLA--it is NOT perfect, but it helps! I like how it sets up the Reference page...and how it keeps all your sources in its reference bank, so easy to use over and over again! As well I bought the APA soft cover book.
Flames9_RN, can I ask what title of book you bought? and Can I PM you?
APA 6th edition. Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition. ISBN: 978-1-4338-0561-5

Thank you so much!
I use PERLA too and bring having good grades with it.
I have both PEERLA and Grammarly for my papers and both compliment each other. Both are not perfect either, so you still will have to bone up on APA regardless.. Both Owl Purdue an and the APA manual (which is also online) are helpful. When it doubt...google.
Speaking of, Owl Purdue has some really nice template papers. In my opinion way better than GCU papers.
Wow, so I'm starting Leadership this Monday. It is the last class prior to the Capstone. Can anyone tell me how this class is? The instructor mentions that she grades hard on papers. If there are ANY reference or citation problems, she will give you an automatic zero and then return your paper for a 20% reduction (at her discretion) for you to correct it.
There is a huge list of deductions for stuff, such as going over in word count on a paper.
I want to cry.

I emailed one advisor I work with. Pandora and I are going to bail on this instructor. No freaking way am I'm going to take a ZERO on a paper because I may have one small thing wrong with a reference.

I also bought my Office 2013 last year, but I thought Office 365 provide more features like synchronizing with my iPhone, so I tried to use it, but I am having some tech issue with that. It is good but it is just good for during the current GCU student. And my advisor said it is just started. So don't feel bad about it :-)
