  1. lwsoccjs. I realize that I didn't mention that USF was Univ. of San Fran So how has been your NP program so far? Is your program on-campus or online?
  2. Hey theNicole, I know it is really hard to decide, I ended up going to GWU for the AGNP program. Still I think Cincinnati is a great program and very organized. but GWU was my first choice school. How was your decision?
  3. Hi Lauren! Thank you for initiating! I couldn't find a FB group page this morning. Would love to join!!
  4. Congratulations! I was wondering about that as well. Should we make an FB group page?
  5. I got accepted to GWU, I received the acceptance letter today!!
  6. Gaelros! Congratulations!!!! thank you for your sweet wishes. Yes, I emailed to school last week, and I was told that my application under the final review, and will take another one week or two.. Are you going to do full time or part time? Where do you live by the way? I am in CA. :)
  7. Hi 8babynurse8 , Thank you for your information. I am wondering how intense the full-time GWU AGPCNP program is and if it can be manageable if you work either FT or PT, and have kids at home. I was looking at the program schedules, the very first two semesters required 12 Cr and 13Cr hours, it looks a lot, though you can finish within 5 semesters Thank you in advance
  8. I am hoping to network with someone who applied to the GWU AGNP program for the Fall 2016. I have been waiting for the admission decision. I was told that in one or two weeks, I will be notified of the decision. Anyone already received the acceptance or rejection email yet? Thank you in advance!
  9. Hi sed09, Congrats! I am wondering how long it does take to receive the admission decision. I submitted my application right before the deadline with some delay with my transcript. But I received the confirmation email from the school that my application sent to the admission committee
  10. Thank you for replying. My ultimate goal is to be an NP, but I can't ignore local connections when it comes to getting a job, here the majority graduates from local schools seem to have better chances to get hired by major local hospitals in SF Bay Area. (I don't see any stats, so not accurate, but seems like it). So I feel I can't let go USF. it is regionally well- regarded school. Things is that I am not crazy about the CNL, here the bay area, the CNL role is not much recognized, I don't even see any single job posts looking for CNL, but coordinator or quality consultant might be the route to go with the CNL credential... Seems non-RNs who have BS degrees pursue this to be an RN w/masters. But This School has a good reputation. I love the NP program with Univ. of Cinci, but It is nationally recognized, upon looking at top #8 online MSN program, but I worry about getting a job if I go to Cincinnati in the SF Bay Area after graduation So I have a dilemma here
  11. USF is a local school to me, does it really matter to go to local school to get a NP job?
  12. This is so helpful!! I got accepted to the 2016 fall Agnp program, started to worry about finding the preceptor, can't believe this thing existed!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
  13. Hi guys, I just received an acceptance email today for the online AGPCNP for fall 2016. I am so excited. I accepted another school. University of san francisco for the CNL program. I still can't decide yet. Can you please anyone tell me what is facebook group to join. I would love to join :)
