  1. I applied Jan 1st deadline and had my interview in Feb. still waiting!
  2. Hey everyone! I am currently in the FNP program at Maryville University and living in Maryland. I have to find preceptor beginning in Fall of 2018 and am having problems really getting started. I am currently on leave from school because I am pregnant and due to delivery in October. I will be going back to class in mid Spring 2018 and will be expected to have had my preceptors established by then. I have asked a couple NP that I have previously worked with in the hospital setting but their network has been limited to inpatient (my program caps specialty and inpatient hours) whereas I need outpatient. The first clinical is 80 hours, being able to perform adult health histories and head to toe assessments in a clinical setting (inpatient acceptable). The clinical would be take place in Fall of 2018. Then second and third clinical is 215 hours each, being able to perform full health history, head to toes exams and develop assessment and plan (outpatient only). The clinical would be taking place Spring and Summer 2019. The last clinical is 70 hours women's health and 165 pediatric hours being able to perform full health history, head to toes exams and develop assessment and plan(outpatient only). The clinical would be taking place Fall of 2019. Anyone have any suggestions or leads? Thanks!
  3. Thanks Jen! I started this fall and it's going really well. I have a lot of changes (new job and just found out we are expecting!) and I feel like this program is the only one that will accommodate and be doable during all these changes. I will be delivering in May so it's good to hear you were about to take off 8 weeks! I will make sure I speak with my advisor about this.
  4. What is D/I? Facility score? Where do you find them?
  5. So I'm guessing I'm a no go at this point. Still says under review thou 😭
  6. I am currently between Simmons and Maryville. How has your Simmons experience been?
  7. I reached out to them and Simmons cause they used the same interface for online learning.
  8. Above I said I would. I'm looking for current students to give me thoughts on their online programs.
  9. Yes that's what I meant by if that's the case. Lol I was looking at Georgetown but like you said they are pretty expensive. I mean I would go to in person to JHSON before Georgetown. I was looking at Simmons and Chamberlain but didn't know of my other online programs.
  10. If that is the case do you have any recommendations for a online program?
  11. I am currently looking at online NP schools and was looking for suggestions/advice from current students. I live in Maryland and am looking for a program I can work full time and will make the clinical placements for me. Thanks!
  12. I hope it does. I am in the same boat as you. My test turned off at 75. My license says pending and my checklist was completed today. I was expecting a license # today cause last week some of my friend's had it by now...waiting game begins. ..
