Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
"stoners" LOL, reminds me of 80's humor -- "Hey Spicoli!"I start Monday!

I thought WTH was I was thinking writing "stoners" after I clicked post LOL And OMG Prism you are almost at the finish line. How scary and exciting at the same time.
PM sent!! She really should be teaching at the beginning of the program, well maybe she does..nope just checked. She is is extremely active in the class, but very approachable and has no problem with people disagreeing with responses..as long as it is polite. She is making it an enjoyable class
How do you see who teaches what classes? Have you all had any luck requesting specific instructors?
AND, in case you all are curious, after a message to the instructor asking her to grade my paper, she gave me 48%. After a few more back and forth messages re: why that grade (got 200/200 on the paper? Was it because it was late?) she graded me as if it had been turned in on time. SO glad that class is over, and I hope never to have another class with her. I wasn't able to complete the course exit survey (I guess I timed out because I had so much feedback I wanted to share). Now, onto Health Assessment. Instructor seems to be pretty involved, but we do have a TA, and I've heard that can be problematic. I hold out great hope that this experience cannot possibly be worse than my last class.

There is a instructor directory on the GCU website that you can look at to see what the instructor teaches. I will see if I can find it later and post a link here (have to get ready for work in a minute).
Anyway, I haven't had any luck requesting teachers because the ones I wanted either wasn't teaching when I needed the class or the class was already full. It has however saved me from an instructor I was told not to have specifically. I called up my advisor and dropped that class right away. So you may not be able to get the instructor you want but you can avoid the instructors you don't want.
Yes it is hit/miss to get the requested prof. I have only done it a few times.....Talking to my adviser yesterday, she said the school normally starts assigning Profs to classes about 2 weeks out from class start. Right now for Capstone starting April 6th, she said she sees 5 classes, but no profs assigned to any of them. So at about 2 weeks, start asking for a prof
