Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Published

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

There is no CLC!!! In my class there was always 2 assignment due on Sunday (excel and book workbook). I know a lot of people say this is on of the hardest class. For me it was the easiest. I only had to spend 1 day and I was done with all week assignments and DQs. Good luck!

Thanks Tokmom!! I ended up doing this: (John 9:1-12 NKJV). This class is going to be a big challenge for me because I don't remember passages for the bible, apart from a few Genesis stories, and don't feel like I can contribute much to the conversation in the DQ forums. I 'm glad these handy websites have a search function though! :bookworm:

Me too. I pretty much answered the responses that dealt with real life situations or something like that I could relate too. Otherwise, I was asking hubby, who at one time, was going to study theology.

Crazy person! LOL!!! we need to banish you to the island for declaring stats easy! :rotfl:

You can be the stats "go-to" person on this forum! :)

Lol. I really don't know how that happened. I did not understand the material but got 100% every time. Fake it until you make it right. Lol. I did not ready any book. I only used google when replying to qd. The excel work was easy as my teacher had YouTube videos showing how to do them. The workbook was the one annoying. The first one I was very lost and remember feeling frustrated. Then I looked at the sample in the workbook to understand what it was asking and how to get the answer. That helped me a lot.

Feel free to PM me for help if needed.

My next class is ethics. What should I expect?

I am in week 3 of research now

And I am in week 2

Good God NO, then nobody would take it! It's torture enough as it is, fighting the material, if I had to fight other students at the same time I would have just croaked (where's the "fork in my eye" emoticon??)

You guys are seriously cracking me up tonight! I needed that something fierce!

Finally a class (Spirituality) that I may have an edge. My husband is a theology major! Yay! He saved me from stats and now the other S, it's my next class! Hooray!

BTW if anyone else wants to give input on a Spirituality teacher I'm all ears =D

Thought I would get up early to do the last two discussion responses for this weeks second discussion but I am sitting here waiting for people to post their second discussion so I can respond to it.
