Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

Gikg, that would make kwmom and myself both in week 3 of Research, although I am working on week 4's assignment. Which basically equals no way of getting all points because that sucker is NEVER going to fit in the 1000 word limit!!! Are you kidding me? For real-->winterwhite is ready to explode! :madface: And every time I look at the assignment my eyes pop out and I need to grow a third eye because I'm missing stuff every time I read it :alien: ...make sure and read the instructions, the critique questions, and the rubric there is details in every single piece! Oh and don't forget when uploading the assignment that it actually calls for you to upload the article that you based it on unlike week 3s. Put a fork in me, k?!!!

Back to your regularly scheduled program, for me that would be round 547 of this assignment...later dudes!

Hello my peeps, I am in week 5 of Comm Health. I have Ethics coming up, I am sure I have asked about inst. in the past but I clean up my in box. (Yea, I have thrown out flight tickets due to cleaning up) :cautious:

So, can someone please send me some names....Thank you all. ..Week 5, IT"S WEEK 5!!! :arghh:

Okay rob...I think I win on this. I just got my grade back from my superfantabulistic resume: 49.70/50 (99%)

...and all I can focus on is that missing 3 tenths of a percent... where did it go? What wasn't good enough? Is it wrong to cry? Is there medication for this disorder we have??? :cry:

I only had to take 11 classes...

And, I once got docked on participation, I think in Trends, because, even though I had the required amount, there wasn't enough of my responses in DQ2:woot:

I kinda had the same experience. I had plenty of responses but not spread out for the required days. 6 in one day. 5 on another and one on a third. It read, "Great participation and contribution to the ...blah, blah, blah (they cut and paste as well, ya know). Unfortunately, you didn't not meet the required amount according to GCU guidelines"...WTha?!!:eek:

I was Fumming!! :madface:

So, I respond and save them with the name it's responding to and set an alarm on my phone. The trick is trying not to respond to so many on one day.

Well, it's saving grace is that there is no CLC, and no e-book so there's no chapters to read. The DQ's I find easy, because mostly they're about personal reflection & whatnot. My instructor didn't make us reference anything in our DQs (I'm paying for that now with my new Leadership instructor who wants 2 for every one LOL). tokmom is rightt, the papers require some research because they are things that I (personally) was not familiar with. And my personal bible is the old archaeic King James Version that never made any sense to me when I was a kid and still doesn't, so thank goodness for the internet! Biblehub and BibleGateway are great, they both have a search feature, and if you don't like the "lingo" in the KJV you can switch it to a different (more modern) version that is easier to understand.

HIII Prism! When using Biblehub/BibleGateway, did you list these in the reference list, or just the passage in the text, like this (Job 1:8 NIV)? I know you said that the bible passages can just be cited in the text, but not sure if you use the web resources.

Thanks Tokmom!! I ended up doing this: (John 9:1-12 NKJV). This class is going to be a big challenge for me because I don't remember passages for the bible, apart from a few Genesis stories, and don't feel like I can contribute much to the conversation in the DQ forums. I 'm glad these handy websites have a search function though! :bookworm:
