Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
I just learned this week that at the beginning of the week you can compose each response and save them as a draft in the DQ forum. Then all you need to do is every day edit them, click post response, and bingo....you are done... Easy to keep track of cause they say draft in the forum view. So this Monday I will post my main two discussion posts and come up with all the responses I need for the week. Then all I need to do is go in every day and post one or two of them.Seems like it will work.
They are only held in cyber space for 24hrs. You can always copy and paste into a new post, but it's double the work.
Thank you PrismRN for all your responses. Yes it does sound like we are similar, I am way too involved in Loud Cloud for my own good.Have a response from the instructor:
"Good afternoon, Rob. I apologize, you had all of the necessary participation postings needed and your grade has been updated. Please let me know if there are any other questions or concerns."
I guess I should have waited for everything to work out before I jumped on here crying FOUL!! I'll take my 97%, Thank you~!!!
I don't know if cruising through loud cloud on a daily basis is bad. I always checked the forum looking for updates. I usually had 2,392 questions to the instructor anyway.
Really? Do you think it's new?
No, I've always "known" there was a gray bar down there but it just became part of the landscape and I never really looked at it until now. Dork
What paper are we avoiding? LOL
Well that would be the Professional Resume with Cover Letter... honestly I think I'm overworking this one so much worse than a paper or a ppt, `cause this is real life, and it's me. The hubster is annoyed because I'm critiquing the crap out of it and I should have been done days ago. He's like, "okay, no one is going to check all that stuff, you could put on there that you single-handedly cured ebola, or, that you work at Dairy Queen - why is this taking you so long!?" (Homeland season premiere starts at 9 so he's getting impatient with the usual Sunday evening assignment crunchtime).
He's right though, it doesn't have to be perfect, or even correct for that matter, it's really just an exercise in how to write one and doesn't have to be the exact conglomeration of Prism's existance. But I'm more thinking that it's fun and it's going to be my real one if I need it in the future, so why not make it fantabulously outstanding? Spouses. They just don't understand.

Haha! Mine said the same thing!! I spent hours on that blasted thing and I thought hubsters was going to have a stroke!!! I wanted it pretty, just in case I need it.
What class do we have to do a resume for? I just graduated a year ago so mines fairly up to date. Should I be excited about this?
Yep, it's the first week's assignment for Leadership, so you can basically take the week off & turn in your current one! :w00t:
(btw, I'm done, and it's stunning. Anyone would be crazy not to hire me!) :rotfl:
