So I thought it would be fun for all the 2012 grads to share where they will be starting their careers! I am graduating next month and have accepted a floating GN position. Cant wait to start. Where is everyone else going to be working?

Congrats on the float position! I would do that in a snap if new grads could. We need 2 yrs exp before we can float

I graduated Dec.2011. I will be starting in CVICU.
Thanks guys! As excited as I am about the float position reading around here is making me wonder if I made the right choice. I was also offered a post op orthopedic med surg floor and turned it down for the float job. Then I started reading posts on here saying it is really hard to float straight out of school and not having a home base. But we do orient to one unit for a few months. We shall see I guess lol
I think you'll be ok :) u get to experience a bit of everything & then maybe later pic a spot u like :)

Omg I am so jealous! I want to work there when I finish in May of 2013! I think I might do ER first though, or regular ICU if possible.
Congrats to all!
