Me too! I asked a few people that were sitting near me if they used the forums and they all said no. I didn't make it over to ask others because a had a test that morning, skipped a class to be at orientation, and had to rush on to something else as soon as it was over.

I decided to go ahead and sign up for all three days of boot camp because I figured that even if it's information that we already know, getting to know the instructors and other students will help before the pressure really starts. Childcare will be tough, but I think it will be worth it.

Travelingnurse Really!!??!! I didn't ask anyone about the forum but I wanted to so bad. I signed up for Saturday clinicals. What day did you sign up for? I didn't sign up for the boot camp though:-(

Just FYI if you can remember I'm the one that had gold framed channel glasses on and long hair (extensions) I think it was in a braid. I was the one who ask about a list of student names and numbers! I sat by the entrance door:-)

I remember you asking about a list of names and numbers - I thought that it was a great idea! I was on the other side of the room and I didn't see your face - only heard your ask. I DO have a Caleb! He's five (but thinks he's 15) and a baby girl who just turned 10 months old. I just ordered my uniform and they assured me that we can order whatever we need to as long as we keep up with the Program's deadlines. I am excited and stressed and a little anxious too! I know that things will get even better once this weeks finals are over.

I too thought that exchanging numbers/emails was a good idea. Maybe we can do it on our own. I did not sign up for any of the boot camp sessions either, but would love to hear from anyone that plans to attend. Not much longer now......

Goddish I'm so glad tomorrow is my last 2 finals, I'm so ready for a break.

What are you guys doing during the break, before the nursing school storm hits us next month?

I'll probably be sitting here saying to myself, what have I gotten myself into?? :uhoh3: ??

Well, we keep getting closer and closer....hope everyone is getting everything taken care of. Does anyone know if traditional track students are eligible to sit for the CNA exam after the first semester of school? I have heard/read that this is an option in some places/schools. Anyone have any info?

I'm going to have to figure out childcare too. I'm hoping to get Thursday/Friday clinicals or if I cand do Friday/Saturday, I'll only have to worry about arranging care for every other Saturday. Having to cover Sunday too may be tough.

Does anyone know when we will get our definite schedule for the first semester? I'm trying to figure out baby sitting. Or does anyone have an idea of when classes will be? Thanks!

I have my last final on Monday. I'm glad as well. During the break, I'll be working, enjoying the last few weeks of spending the days with my little girl, as she'll be going to day care when the program starts, rejoicing on passing these last couple of prerequisite classes, traveling for the holidays, and enjoying family thats coming to see us.
