Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but during orientation I thought we were told that class would be on Tuesdays from 9-4 and clinicals would be either Wednesday or Saturday from 7a-7p. We even noted our preference on the sign in sheet. Has this changed?

Hey lewisjj that is correct for bridge program. There is a mixture of bridge and traditional track on here:-)

I choose Saturday clinicals. I don't want to miss to many days of work.

Whoa I wish the traditional track schedule was like that.

I know right. I think we have a awesome schedule for the bridge program. It makes it more possiable for us (LPN's) to still work some. Depending on how much time I need to study I may work 3 days a week.

Thanks for the information! I'll definitely check into the minute clinic and just go to the health department for immunizations/titers.

One more question...

For our background check, I know Mrs. Creel said not to have our results sent to the school. However, when you sign up, you have to choose a school. Then there is no option to delete that school from the "share" list. Any idea how to fix this? Or should I just not worry about it?

I wasn't sure about the school/background check thing. I don't think it necessarily said that they'd be only sent to the school. As long as we have copies I think we're good.

About the titers make sure you check first because I live in Alpharetta and planned to just swing by the closest health department but they don't do titers. I found Marietta did after about an hour of googling and calling places.

I know we can add hospitals once we find out where our clinical site is, but I wasn't sure how to delete GPC since she said not to send the results to the school. There is no way to delete them once you start the process. Oh well...I'm sure it's no big deal but I am just anal retentive about following directions. lol

Thanks for the info about the titers. I'll start calling the health departments in my area to see who does them!

Thanks, RockabillyMommy! That shouldn't be too bad then. I hope that's the schedule we get at Orientation!

No problemo! Yeah I'm good with virtually any clinical schedule but sat/sun 7-3. Im on staff as a singer at my church and I was counting on keeping that paycheck. Just hoping if I get that schedule I can switch somehow.

Hey everybody! I didn't get a chance to meet any of you personally at the LPN Bridge orientation, but I just wanted to say 'hello' and say how excited I am! I finished my background check but I haven't ordered my uniforms yet and I only have a couple of days left! Does anyone know if the company will let us order one now and one later if we need it? Money is really tight and I'd love to do it all at once, but I may not be able to. And also...are we meeting for something on December 15th? I saw a couple of posts about that, but I'm not sure if that's us or the generic track!

Hi travelingnurse! Where you at orination? We don't know each (who's who's ) on here but I was sitting in orination wondering who was who. Im sure that you will be just fine with ordering one uniform now and another later.

I think the generic track has orination on the 15th.
