Hello fellow fall 2019 applicants!
God willing, we will find out if we made it into the fall 2019 cohort at Golden West the latter part of April. I have been waiting for someone to start a post so we could all "calmly" wait this process out together! I know I am not the only one out here so please join me as we "patiently" wait for our acceptance emails/mail! All positive vibes, I am low key an internal wreck, if you cannot tell by the words I strategically placed within "quotes", lol.

However, I'm still waiting for GWC to reply because its a lot closer to my house. GWC said that they won't mail out their letters until beginning of May. According to the GWC point system I have acquired 91 points, so I'm conflicted on what to do. Should I wait for GWC or just accept Saddleback's offer?
Which schools do you guys think has a better nursing program?
Congrats! Sounds like you have a win/win!!

I had the exact same dilemma and was stressing hard about it. I ended up deciding to accept my invitation from saddleback yesterday after doing a little more research. They have a higher NCLEX pass rate and seem to offer more supplemental classes beyond just the core ones we are required to take. If you go on the mysite website, you can look at the class schedule for fall and even see all the clinical locations. Lecture class is only once a week, so that's only one commute to campus. The rest of the time (except the first month-ish of first semester) you are going to the clinical sites. There are hospitals in Newport, Santa Ana, FV, Costa Mesa that they go to, then some in Mission Viejo. I've heard great things about both programs, but my gut was telling me to go with SBC. Hope this helps! If you do decide of SBC I will see you in the fall!
