Published

praise be to god!!!i got my snail mail today (exactly 15 days after my exam), around 10.40 am... i passed!!!:lol2: this is my first time taking the nclex.

i joined the allnurses.com last september 2008 during my preparation for nclex-rn. the forum had been my additional support during my review and the numerous supports from the members had been a boost indeed. thanks to all of you!!!

for those who are still awaiting their schedule, don't ever ever stop praying and lifting up everything to god. all our efforts, reviewing and studying would be in vain if we won't include him in it. after all, he is the one who holds the master plan of our lives.

good luck to all!!!

I passed, thank you all for words of encouragement and prayers........what a relief. and just FYI I took my test on friday @ 8am and results were available exactly 48hrs, got them sunday at 8am

I am getting ready to take mine soon, Jan 15,2008 is the DAY! I read through your posts and i was wandering what you have studied days before which came on your exam :) I am not sure of what to study days before the exam. Any tip is much appreciated.

God bless!!

nina9,

It worked for me to have some light readings before the exam. Light readings include; normal lab values, mnemonics for infections, therapeutic values for meds and few pharma review (I can't recall exactly the questions in the NCLEX, but I remember that these small facts are part of the questions, and which is really very helpful). Refrain from answering questions the day before your exam. It's not helpful at all, and will just make you feel unprepared if you encounter seemingly difficult questions. Be confident on what you have reviewed and always remember, NCLEX is just testing our minimum competency level. Most of all, have faith in God. During those times, prayer has been my "anti-anxiety meds". You will know that He's in control, because I never felt my exam that day difficult. I went out of the testing center confident that I made it. And I did!

Good luck!
