who's getting ready to graduate????

Published

:yeah: This time last year I hadn't even applied for LPN school, and was just starting to consider this path (LPN to RN) and now we're just 3mo from graduation!!!! I feel like I know absolutely nothing, but surely after all the exams, modules, clinicals, etc... I've picked up something, right!?!

So what are your plans now? Do you have any idea what kind of nursing you want to do? I just got my letter of acceptance for RN school, so the summer will be filled with classes to transition into the RN program, but I do plan to work as an LPN (hopefully in peds) for the next year, and then I'd really love to move to NICU.

So, are you starting to get excited yet? I'm on spring break so I actually have a minute to reflect :p I can't believe we're going to be nurses soon!!!!

I feel like I just started...but there are only 46 days of school left (including weekends). I finally am seeing the light at the end of the LPN tunnel and can't wait to start my last year to get my RN. Goodluck with finals everyone! :):yeah:

Congrats on all your hard work and the upcoming graduation!

I am so glad I'm not the only one who feels like I know nothing after this crazy year of nothing but studying and test taking. I graduate on JUNE 11th! At the first of the school year I had planned on going straight into RN school, but I really believe I'm gonna hang out at LPN for a long while, catch up with myself and everyone that I've sort of hid from this past year. I've even changed my mind about working at a long term care facility, I think it might be the place I want to work at. Things are being put in place now, but there is still the long road to passing boards....just one day at a time.

Congrats and Good Luck to all!!!:yeah::bow:

Graduation .... YEAH, MAN !!!!!! Our tests are done, final grades calculated, today is our last day of actually going to school, and graduate tomorrow night !!!!!!! :hpygrp: It's been a long, strange trip, but it's done....and I'll cross paths with a bunch of my soon-to-be-former classmates, as most of us are going to work at the hospital that runs the school we attended. Next step, NCLEX, then on to RN school....... but my brain needs a rest ;)

Im so nervous and excited at the same time. I graduate May 15, I have been going part time so for me I am so ready to be done. I started in Fall 2007. Its been a ride! Everyday Im getting closer to my dream, but sometimes I dont feel prepared enough either.

I just hope to make it through these last two months with out any problems and I will worry about the NCLEX when I get there. I plan to get a partime nursing job and go to RN school as soon as I can get in. Good luck to everyone.

I'm jealous, you guys are so lucky that you graduate in the next two months or so! I don't graduate until Aug.1 but then again, my program only lasts 11 months. Plan to begin pre-reqs for my RN beginning in Jan 2010.

5 weeks to go!!!!!This has been the hardest thing I've ever done.Good luck to all the new grads

First off, CONGRATS TO EVERYONE- there is FINALLY light at the end of the tunnel! :yeah: Our last day was March 25th, and graduation is April 17th! It was a rough year, learned first hand what migraines and panic attacks were. But now that it's over...I miss it. I miss my classmates and can't imagine not having them by my side when I start working. At this point, I have NO idea where I want to work- guess I need to get on that. Still waiting to get my ATT# so I can take NCLEX, hopefully it'll be before graduation so I can walk the stage as a LPN!! (that would be sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Getting my RN is next on the list!!!

ive got 4 months to go, i just can't wait to graduate! i need to work!!!:scrying:
