This time last year I hadn't even applied for LPN school, and was just starting to consider this path (LPN to RN) and now we're just 3mo from graduation!!!! I feel like I know absolutely nothing, but surely after all the exams, modules, clinicals, etc... I've picked up something, right!?!
So what are your plans now? Do you have any idea what kind of nursing you want to do? I just got my letter of acceptance for RN school, so the summer will be filled with classes to transition into the RN program, but I do plan to work as an LPN (hopefully in peds) for the next year, and then I'd really love to move to NICU.
So, are you starting to get excited yet? I'm on spring break so I actually have a minute to reflect I can't believe we're going to be nurses soon!!!!

I am finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Our last day is a 12 hour clinical day on June 6th. Our pinning date is on June 15th. :grad: now that I am getting so close I am starting to have a minor freak out about passing the NCLEX.
We are gonna have a class party for all of us after we graduate and I am looking forward to to cutting loose and getting my drink on. :beer:
Done 7/24/09 can't wait this time last yr I was already accepted to the program just waiting to start orientation, can't wait. I plan on working and starting om my pre reqs for LPN-RN bridge program ultimate goal is to end up in Peds definitely getting my BSN and School Nurse certification so that I can work the same hrs as my daugther is in school and workk Per diem in the hospitals for extra cash during breaks and stuff can't wait I can see a glimmer of light as me again in about 4-6 more weeks how I feel the lol
I graduate on July 30th. I am so excited. I am not going to work immediately as I am 5 months pregnant, and my baby is due first of Sept. I am going to take my boards, and hopefully start work in Jan of 2010.

I'll be done 7/22/09 so we are just two days apart girlfriend ! Like you, I'll be finishing up my pre-reqs starting this fall so that I can do my LPN-BSN. My dream is to end up in OB either in Labor or delivery or post-partum ! :heartbeat:heartbeat
