I take my final on Monday. I'm fairly confidant that I'm okay to say that I've completed my first year. I only have to get 46 out of 101 to pass.
After struggleing so hard to get my pre-req's done and get into NS, it's sort of odd to acknowledge that I've completed one whole year of nursing school. But I'm really excited that I'm getting it done. :smiley_aa Congrats to everyone who is one year down :yelclap: :yelclap:.
I'm in an ABSN program and am halfway through - so I'll chime in on completing my first year. Anyone else remember sitting in orientation, thinking, "What in the HE*L am I doing here, and how long until they figure out I'M A FAKE and have no clue what I'm doing?"
I'm on my semester break until May 18, when I start Peds, Maternity, Leadership, and Health Promotion/Disease Prevention (one of the grad classes we have; I have no clue what it's about). I plan on being lazy.
For my second summer break in August, between summer and fall, I'm going to Barbados for two weeks to work in the polyclinics there with school.
I cannot believe I will be done in December. Yikes.
i've got one more week to go, but i'd have to just not show up not to pass at this point!! one more year of an adn program until the real world!!
i've got an internship in an ed for part of the summer; the rest of the summer will be spent painting, organizing, cleaning, exercising, relaxing, reading trashy novels, etc., etc!!!
congrats all!! it's been a wild and crazy ride, and it's far from over!!
