welocme, rhonda! congratulations on going back for your rn!

sorry to hear your husband is less than supportive, however, it's good to hear you have support from your family and best friend.

you too will find support from those of us here at allnurses.

keep the faith and blessings to you too.

stephany,

thank you for the kind response. i should mention that i am strong in my faith and i know that alone will help me get thru the next 2 years, with or without my spouses support! i look forward to what the future holds. hugs, ronda

My name is Kathy, I am in my final semester, pursuing an ADN degree. My plans are to go to Texas Womens University for the Master's track program which will enable me to work towards a Masters while saving a year of school. I have worked hard for this and I love every aspect of nursing. I still don't know exactly what I want to specialize in, but I currently work on a Neuroscience floor in the Medical Center as a student nurse and I love it. I am very interested in midwifery, trauma and women's services as well. I feel blessed.

And I am happy to finally have found a board where I can discuss my passion for nursing!

Specializes in LTC, ER, ICU,.

Hi! I'm Uliana. 23 yo, 2 boys - Mathew 6 years old and Mike 15 months old. Previously psychology student, ex EDI manager for small distribution company, and now accepted (after all the prereqs) in Nursing. It was fun taking care of two kids and taking night classes, and I am just experiencing this blood rush just thinking about starting my "stage" in the hospital as of october. Goal? ER or ICU.

Hello! I'm Taryn. Just graduated high school in May. Will be attending Florida A&M University in the fall. I plan on going on for my masters in anesthesia.
