Only 3 1/2 weeks until this semester is over! Yippee!!!! I'm really enjoying my Ped's rotation... 3rd exam is Monday...:saint: I hope I do well! I hope everyone is having a great summer!

Specializes in OB, lactation.

I'm glad you are enjoying your classes :)

Mine are ok; I have two online classes that are required for my program but not really core NUR classes so I am not super excited about them. But I'm almost done. Next week is the last week then a month break. Yay!

Specializes in OB-Gyn/Primary Care/Ambulatory Leadership.

I'm studying for my midterm in Micro later this week. I hope to get an A but I think a B is more realistic. I just started A&P I this week, and that will go until October. I just finished my prerequisite CNA course which was one month long and practically fulltime. It was an easy A, but very time consuming, and I'm ashamed to admit I let my Micro obligations slide a bit during that time. I'm glad it's over!

Specializes in Geriatrics/Alzheimer's.

Right now I'm, trying to get my assignments done for Sociology. We changed my printers location last night and it didn't work when I tried to use it tonight. Checked things out, well, last night, due to too many cords and stuff we plugged the wrong cord in thinking it belonged to the printer. The printer was still not plugged in. LOL  Now, it works fine, but i'm not....

I have to focus, focus... :uhoh3:

My summer classes are going ok I guess. My school is on quarter systems so we are only in our 3rd week. Had my first exam today in Intro, and have a quiz in Pathophysiology on Thursday. Blah. I am not really caring for that class now. Just think: only 1 more science after this quarter! Does anyone feel like I am? And yeah, since this is my first summer going to classes, my friends are kinda making a big deal about me not going out anymore.....if they only knew. :p

My nutrition class is over this coming tuesday (yeahy!!!). BUT, we have a paper due tomorrow that I just can't make myself do....must...try....to...log..off....allnurses.com!

whooohoo, finished paper! Much easier than I thought! Good luck everyone with your summer classes.

I was taking an intensive Spanish course as a Cultural Diversity credit for my degree.

It was from 9a-12:40p monday thru Friday.

Couldn't do it. Went to school every AM, then went straight to work, didn't get home till 11p, then had to stay up and do 10 pages (not kidding!) of homework for the next day, didn't get to bed till sometimes 2-3am, then had to get up and do it all again....

I found myself with headaches every day, the stress was unbelievable and I ended up dropping the class.

I will pick it up again somewhere down the road, but for now, I'll stick with my nursing courses which start in August!

I'd better enjoy this summer cause it's the last one I'm gonna see till 2007! :rotfl:

Just started College Comp. and Nutrition this week. 11 more classes of each to go! Going well so far *crossing fingers, and everything else!*

Specializes in Urgent Care.

I'm in the CNA class. We start clinicals next week. Today I have to give a 10 minute oral presentation. Ick Ick Ick!

Specializes in Cardiology.

Isn't this funny? I have some work to do for my nutrition class too and I can't seem to get away from allnurses either, lol. My class is going great. It's really changed my lifestyle, I must admit. Fresh fruit and veggies in my fridge... that's a new sight, lol. Hope everyone does great this semester.

Specializes in Emergency & Trauma/Adult ICU.

Slogging through my med-surg class - 2 days of lecture and 2 days of clinical each week. I have a strong B in the class right now, and it might be theoretically possible to pull it up to an A, but that's not my main concern. This week we're off for a break, then it's back to the grind until Aug. 6. But it doesn't feel much like a break, because I'm doing my complete health assessment & care plans on one of the patients I had last week. So I'm sitting at the computer for a reason, right???!! :chuckle

Learning so much this term, but definitely looking forward to the 2-week break in August.
