How is everyone's summer classes going?

I'm studying for my midterm in Micro later this week. I hope to get an A but I think a B is more realistic.

I'm heading into my last week of psychiatric nursing...final exam on 7/20....i'm so happy you just don't know...then 4 weeks off til we start adv. med-surg and peds....ahhh....

I am taking A&p I. It is a 7 week course. I didn't know I could learn so many thing so quickly. I will never take a summer course again.

im taking summer classes too, but not for nursing. i am finishing up my general education courses. right now im supposed to be finishing a 10-page term paper on a Human Sexuality course, but i am only on page 3. and its due on wednesday along with the final on tuesday. eek. :uhoh21: And next week i start a new course, Political Science. How fun. but at least it'll be easier than taking g.e. courses along with nursing in the regular semester.

i start my nursing courses this fall, and i cant WAIT!! next week i plan to buy my new stethoscope for Nursing clnicals, yay!

I'm taking A&P this summer semester and it sucks. Mainly the teacher of the A&P sucks. Wish I could have taken it next semester but it's better to get it out of the way so I can concentrate on the nursing classes. He just not a very good teacher. A slacker mainly. Lets us out early ALL the time. Just assigns diagrams but never explains them. The tests are extremely easy. I feel I'm not being fully prepared for A&P II this coming Spring where I'll have to take it at the local state university. I'm taking A&P here at my local community college. Oh well, so far its just been an easy A. He said as long as you get an A in the class you won't have to take the final and since I got a 106% on the 1st exam and 99% on the 2nd and I'm sure I'll pass his 3rd stupid exam with flying colors, I probably won't have to take the final. I'm sorry I'm complaining. I'm just frustrated and I don't feel very challenged in this class. I do hope you classes are going better than mine.

I just finished an intensive 6 week A&P1 course (with an A!). I've got my fall schedule already, and they are scheduling an Open House for Transfer students in mid-August. I don't think I'll be able to go then since I'll be on what will probably be a last vacation for a long time, to Alaska. I have to call them tomorrow and find out what I need to know in terms of a Student ID, parking permit, what to bring to first class, when clinicals start, etc.

I'm getting really excited!

with an accelerated A/P course. I am doing okay...considering I have all 4 kids home with me and they are bored and want to go do something but...mom is studying. It's a 5 week (closer to 6 actually) online hybrid. 5 hrs on Tuesdays nights on campus in lab...taking essay exam, lab exam and all labwork-plus the online portion. Mostly..I am just completely burned out...I think I study at least 50hrs a week and I am just sick of it. I need a break-I need to play...my kids need thier mom. After tomorrow night...only 2 more essay exams (no books, no notes...just whatever you can cram in your peabrain) I've never been so burned out before...even when I took a year of chemistry in 11 weeks along with 2 other classes. Sigh...Calgon...take me awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...... :uhoh3:

I am tired of classes didn't want to take any summer classes but the Pharm class that is offered in the fall wouldn't fit in my schedule. Taking an online Psyc class that I am repeating for a better grade. These are 8 week classses and will be over July 30th. No one is doing well in the Pharm class first test no one passed so we had to correct them for more points. This class is kicking my butt!!! Psyc class I think I will have an A in I have enjoyed it so much more this time. First time it was an open learning class and teacher was bad didn't know the matieral and no discussion involved in the online class we have some heated debates and many wonderful comments. BUT I DID NOT WANT TO TAKE ANY CLASSES THIS SUMMER and it shows cause I am having a hard time being motivated. Hope everyone else is doing better than I am in Pharm

I just finished my Speech class June 30. Got my A, thank goodness. Now, I'm just taking care of loose ends (paid my nursing school tuition, insurance, took the NET, immunizations, physical exam). Planning on buying textbooks on Sat., and maybe a stethoscope. I can wait a little while to buy uniforms...

Still don't know how much sanity it will cost me to do 9 hours this fall while working full time. I guess I can stand anything for 16 weeks. Then I get a month long break.
