Well done, I know how difficult that is to maintain. Excellent job. You will be very glad later on once you apply to grad school (if you do) that you have such lovely transcripts!

Congratulations!

congrats! That is an awesome accomplishment! I know I'll be delighted if I can maintain a 3.8+, but it is HARD work! Kudos to you!

Congratulations!! May I ask where you went to school?

Specializes in Acute Care Psych, DNP Student.

Yes, it can be done. There were two of us with 4.0 GPAs in my graduating class. I did it, and I regret it at times. My life would have been more balanced and healthy with the occasional 'B'. Congrats to you, Maggio, if you did it with more balance than I did!

thanks everyone! sorry for the delayed replies. I didnt get email notification about them

I graduated from Cal State Long Beach

Yeah I did have a social life and thought I had good balance. It also helped that I just turned 21 in nov, so I really wasnt able to go out and party with all of my friends so it gave me some free time.

Haha my reasons for straight A's are probably pathological but really it was because I didnt like going into exams without knowing that I did everything I could to prep for the exam. It helped me to avoid testing anxiety.

I originally wanted a 4.00 when I initially wanted to become a CRNA and heard about it's competitive nature. And then I learned that I love love love critical care bedside nursing and wish to do nothing else...so here I sit with this lovely GPA that I probably wont use ;)

You may want to become a NP some day. If so, that beautiful gpa of yours will come in handy! CONGRATS!!! : )

Yeah ......... most of us would be admitted for depression to maintain a 4.0 ... you are one smart cookie and congrats, that GPA will serve you well when you want to advance your career.
