What do you prefer to wear at work? Please elaborate if you have a strong opinion.

i picked "all colors, incluiding white," even though i rarely wear anything white.

[color=#483d8b]if i do, it is a jacket. i had a white scrub top that i wore once, and spilled something on it that never came out.

[color=#483d8b]when i wear white, i seem to immediatly spill something on it, sit in something dirty......somehow ruin it.

[color=#483d8b](granted, i spill stuff on non-white scrubs, too; it just isn't so obvious.)

Same comments as CritterLover. Can't keep white clean.

My school uniform is white. I absolutely hate it. Can't find thick enough quality pants that are not see through. I don't feel comfortable bending over etc. I have gone through so many pairs of scrubs and I am just a poor student. Even as a nurse, I don't think I would wear white again unless it was mandatory of course.

I chose all colors including white because I know many who love white and they should have that option.

I wear only colors, no whites, they are impossible to keep clean and I enjoy the colors and patterns. I'm a "seasoned" nurse and remember white dresses, white support hose, white caps and white clinic shoes. We've come a long way baby!

I chose all colors except white. I work on the NICU and sometimes get spitup on and we all know how hard than can be to get out. Besides, I wore whites for quite a long time in my previous job and they are soooo hard to keep clean. They get so dingy so fast no matter how much bleach you use.

Colors are my favorite things to wear because with white scrubs they always look dingy. I can wear whites for a month and then I have to buy new ones because the "old" ones look a mess.

I do like the stereotypical look white scrubs (ie- fresh, clean, non-dingy, and pressed) but when I feel in a white scrub mood I'd rather wear a solid soft color like light blue or light pink. The only solid white thing I would wear is a white t-shirt under a jacket.

I'm starting to like the plain short sleeve top and solid color scrub bottom thing. It's kind of nice.

I like to merge colors with whites (white pants, or scrub top or jacket). One of my "prettiest" outfits is a solid pink scrub top and pants bottom and a white jacket with lots of pockets and arms cut out! (I tailored the latter myself.)

I love to weqr colors, but in the last 2 hospitals I have worked (one in NY and one in NC) they have made it a hospital policy to wear white pants. I hate it!

We have had this debate a lot. we were required to wear white pants when we were students. Not smart at all . Nurses look very professional in all white. However, I hate the way you need a hazmat suit to stay white. Its colors for me all the way! . Great poll by the way. !

I think scrub companies should start making more colors. Mostly the "inbetween colors"

I prefer whites, and patients do, too, actually. But my DON likes us to look less "medical" since this is a "home." Sure it is. But I've been making tops and I really like some of the delicate pastel florals I've found.
