What can I do besides nursing?

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I lost my nursing license in 2015 due to school claiming I did not graduate. I had worked for 8 years as a nurse and loved it. And yes I posted things before. I would just like to know if everthing else fails what would be a good medical profession? I pray I will get license back but is has been 3 years. Please no negative commment I have been through heck. My story was on the news 4 so I am not making this up.

I did fight the first year it happened called 762 lawyers no one could help. I have someone helping me now but it is a long process. I will know more in a few months. I have no more to the story. I will answer any question I can I have nothing to hide. Eventually you get tired of fighting and I need something to help me so I don't get so depressed if it don't work out. If it was a private college I think it would have been settled. No one wants to go against college or government.

Why can't you just take the class again? I doubt you'd fail it twice in a row.

I made a mistake I never retook Bio 101 and now I have to wait until this is over. I don't need anyone feeling sorry for me I have accepted what happened. This is a terrible thing that happened but it could be worse. I type this on my phone and sometimes I make a mistake.

I am advised not to take class

Loads of stuff

This ^^^^ is why Im fairly certain this is a sock puppet (ie fake account) and not really the person who was mentioned in the news OR if it is the actual person there is a LOT more going on with losing their license then they now want to admit to.

They wont answer questions.

They change answers.

This is like the guy who yelled at me in a post the other day "Dont you see at the bottom in my sig where it says I have 30 years experience, Im an ENP, etc etc!?!?"

I was like nope, you must be talking about your OTHER account here on AN.

Im pretty certain there are a lot of weirdos on here with multiple accounts they use to stir up trouble and create drama.

I am advised not to take class

By who? Stop making us play twenty questions.

Just give the freaking story or go get a job at Starbucks and move on with your life.

My lawyer advised me not to

Would u like my phone number?

I did fight the first year it happened called 762 lawyers no one could help. I have someone helping me now but it is a long process. I will know more in a few months. I have no more to the story. But you have NOT been answering any question. You seemed to be completely avoiding the questions related to

  • whether or not you had a lawyer or spoke to one (first you say you called "762 lawyers" and no one could help, then all of a sudden you have one and he/she advised you not to retake bio 101). So, which is it? Did you take bio once and fail or did you retake it again after that. Did you call lawyers and no one could help or did you find one that could help and he/she advised you not to take bio 101.
  • Why you have not tried to retake bio 101 after failing it
  • What you've been doing the last 2 years to try to get back your license.
  • If you have spoke to the board and whether or not they will let you retake bio 101 after failing

Let me just say....I am NOT trying to stir up trouble. I do not want it to seem that way. Unfortunately, when things occur online, things said can be misconstrued and seem like you are being mean or have attitude or whatever, so I just want to be clear that I am NOT trying to be mean. I really just want to help!

You say you want HELP. You say you NEED ADVICE. NUMEROUS people have responded trying to help. They have offered suggestions, asked questions for clarification so they could give you advice based on what you have done so far, etc. People are trying to HELP you. If you keep avoiding answering the questions, no one can HELP. If you don't want to answer certain questions. That is TOTALLY fine!! That is YOUR choice. This is YOUR thread and the people responding are here for YOU. Feel free to tell people you don't feel comfortable providing whatever info they are asking. That is completely fine.

But, when you keep saying you want help, and keep saying how nursing is your dream job and how horrible it is not to be doing it, why not answer the simple questions people are asking to try and help you. If you say you spoke to a lawyer, then people know that telling you to speak to a lawyer will not be helpful information. If you say you spoke to a lawyer and he/she advised you not to retake bio 101, then people will know not to keep telling you to retake bio 101. If you spoke to the board and they told you something, people can give you advice based on what they have told you to do. I really think this is such an unfortunate situation. I truly want you to get the help and advice you need to get back to doing your dream job!

It just really seems like there is more to the story. I KNOW the story is real. We have all googled it by now and seen that it is REAL. Of course, that does not mean the OP is the girl from that story (as someone else said). I would like to think that someone would not go and do something like fake being someone else for sympathy, but unfortunately, it's the world we live in. But, I DO think you want advice. I do think you want help. I want you to get the advice that you are seeking, but you have to help people give you that advice. That means answering the questions they have, if you so wish, in order to get the best advice possible.

If you just want the sympathy and kind words people have to offer, then responding only to how much it stinks and how much you wish you want to be a nurse again and there's nothing you can do, will get you that.

But if you want REAL, HELPFUL ADVICE, then you gotta start giving a little bit of answers - you said you called lawyers but no one could help, then right after you say you were advised not to retake bio 101 by your lawyer, so at first you couldn't find a lawyer but now you have? Why did the lawyer advise you not to retake bio 101? What has the board said about what you need to do to get your license active again? Have you done any of that? - Answering those kinds of questions, will let people give you actual advice that might help.

But again, PLEASE do NOT take this the wrong way. I really am NOT trying to be mean! I really think this situation is completely horrible and it stinks for someone to be going through this! I really hope you are able to get the advice that you need to help you get it resolved!

Why were you told not to retake biology? That would appear to be the easiest, fastest, and least expensive option.

I have an attorney now it took a year to find one. I was advised not to retake biology until court. Nursing board said as soon as college clears this up license can be reinstated.

I was advised not to retake biology until court.

But WHY? Were you given a reason?

Would u like my phone number?

Pretty sure this is troll fake account now.

First you HAD retaken bio, and failed it again, now youve only taken it once.

First you DIDNT have an attorney, now you have one.

You story changes every single time you post. Im not buying it any longer.

Go troll somewhere else.
