I did it! OMG I can't believe I did it! I turned in my resignation today! Gave my 2 weeks notice in writing and then asked the Manager to sign that she recieved my notice. She refused!
"I don't have to sign anything."
Didn't matter to me I had security with me and told him I was going to write down Manager refused to sign. He said alright.
I handed her the key back for the sharps boxes and asked for the key to the lock that was on the locker. If looks could kill I would have been dead! I can't believe how happy I am...don't have a job yet, but I figure I have 2 weeks before I have to! :roll
I wish I had taken the advice of many on this board sooner, but I was gonna stick it out to see if it would get better. It never did, but at least I can say I tried.
Next job will be one of my choosing and guestion asked of the next manager which will help me formulate a better choice.

i have no idea of the circumstances associated with your resignation but I'm always happy to hear "I quit" stories. I remember mine just like it was yesterday. Oh boy was that fun:roll

I'm happy for you. I recently quit a job I was unhappy in and feel so much better when I wake up in the morning now. There were alot of sour grapes in my situation as well.
