Re: previous floating gripe - said to the powers that be she would not have her nurses being told they *must* go places they are not trained. We could be asked and given the choice to help (task) or if we were overstaffed on our unit be given the option to stay home, but not forced to go places.
I don't know if she realizes what a long way it would go just being *asked* instead of *told.* She must remember being a floor nurse! :)

Glad to hear you have a NM who gives a shyt about her staff's morale. Kudos to her!!!

When is she getting fired? Hope she has a ton of dirt on those above her so that she can stick around and make this happen!

Yeah, you gotta point....she may have just done a big no-no...sticking up for the troops...
Sad that the good leaders who care very often get attacked by TPTB when they don't support the party line.
Management can be a very dangerous place. I give her a lot of credit. :)
