So... I've been paying attention lately to how long people have been hanging around on this BB and it's made me wonder. When did this BB start? Looks to me like the oldest member is (was) Rick. ... Read More

Interesting history. Of course, I had to share the information with my hubby; I feed him tidbits here and there, usually when you upgrade or when your server dies from too many users. It was inevitable, your site growing as it did. You are now officially the envy of my husband.

Really, we both think it's way cool that you are where you are at today. First of all, Aaron thinks it's way cool that you are out of floor nursing (ahem - he's biased, I know) and of course, way cool that it has to do with Information Technology, and even cooler that it allows you to work from home.

You have much to be proud of Brian. You are doing everything right - even your patio!

If I graduated nursing school today, instead of 2004, I would mention in my dedication has enabled me to plant information about nursing deep in my mind, exposing me to real nursing concepts only actual experinces could produce. I can only imagine the untold lessons I will learn in the next two years of continued monitoring and will procure for this flowering nursing student.

    Thank you :-)

Every once and awhile, my hubby will ask something like, "But can you do _______ on your board?"

    To which I answer, "Yeeeeeessssss..."

And he replies, "Oh. Well, I guess you got a pretty good set up there."

He even got on once and navigated himself around for awhile. I heard lots of "cool" and "oh wow"

Thanks for the great history lesson Brian, and a wonderful site!

Brian, I really love this site. It is my link to the outside world of nursing as I am disabled and told I would never be able to return to the nursing profession. I read my local papers on line and then head straight for this board. I have made friends and really love it here. Thanks for this board and cannot wait until I can order my t-shirt.

    KUDOS, Brian!!!!

Thank you for this site! :kiss
My first post here was r/t something that had happened when I first started nursing and it made me question if I was really cut out for this career. So many ppl responded and I am happy to say because of them I am still at the helm of my nursing career.

    Thanks again!
