I've been paying attention lately to how long people have been hanging around on this BB and it's made me wonder. When did this BB start? Looks to me like the oldest member is (was) Rick. He's got the next person beat by a year, as I see it. So was it just Rick posting all by himself for a year? I thought this place was like a roach motel... once you check in, there's no checking out. :chuckle
So when did allnurses start? How long have you been coming here? Any "original members"?
...i have to agree with everyone who posted thus far....allnurses.com is by far, the best nursing bbs that i've encountered...& i've visited approximately five of them so far.... this one is the best !!! i feel that i have made a lot of friends here & that great information is genuinely shared among the members...people here do feel like family!!! brian, i can't forget about all of the similes that you provide us...use them all the time.

This IS the best site on the internet for nurses. I've learned much from everyone who posts. This site has come a long way. Can't remember when I signed up, but I remember it being way different than it is now!

Interesting history. Of course, I had to share the information with my hubby; I feed him tidbits here and there, usually when you upgrade or when your server dies from too many users. It was inevitable, your site growing as it did. You are now officially the envy of my husband.
Really, we both think it's way cool that you are where you are at today. First of all, Aaron thinks it's way cool that you are out of floor nursing (ahem - he's biased, I know) and of course, way cool that it has to do with Information Technology, and even cooler that it allows you to work from home.
You have much to be proud of Brian. You are doing everything right - even your patio!
If I graduated nursing school today, instead of 2004, I would mention allnurses.com in my dedication
allnurses.com has enabled me to plant information about nursing deep in my mind, exposing me to real nursing concepts only actual experinces could produce. I can only imagine the untold lessons I will learn in the next two years of continued allnurses.com monitoring and will procure for this flowering nursing student.

Just bought me a jersey shirt and a baseball cap from the allnurses shopping store! Now, if we could only get a nightshirt on that site.... :)
