Does anyone know about the HESI exam cause I think the chem and ap part will be hard?

So it looks like a lot of the Fall 2014 applicants have gotten their acceptance letters. I got so excited for them you would have thought I got accepted. I realized I have to stay focused to get in .

Did anyone get the official requirements for the spring 2015 term? Is Chemistry still in and Sociology out? Is the HESI still the entrance test? I am still patiently awaiting Mrs. Chery James email. If I hear anything I will share on this thread. In the meantime if anyone else knows of anything for Spring 2015 please share. Good Luck to everyone :).

im im not sure, I had received the packet, deadline, scoresheet, etc and then was told to throw it out because they messed up and had too many errors. I believe the hesi exam will still be the test, it better be because I have already taken it once and it costs $95. However idk about anything else but I feel it has to be October first as the deadline because its too close too august first for them to say "hey the deadline is in two weeks". But if i hear anything ill post it.

Hey guys new to this discussion board and all the new changes are already giving me a headache. So I already took my Hesi a few weeks ago and it wasn't too bad. I went in without studying first to see how well I would do (which is crazy because it's $95) I'm going to take it again though. I got 80 overall but I did really bad in the biology section because I haven't taken that since high school. I don't even know if they take the overall score or go by sections.

I know you guys said the new packet was being thrown out but if someone could email me a copy just so I can get some kind of understanding of What's going on I would really appreciate it. My email is [email protected]

As far as everything else for the program I have it. CPR, all prerequisite with an A (with both chemistry and sociology in case they change their mind) and I'm taking Micro in the fall. The test is my only concern about getting in and the fact that we're the first batch with the new changes makes me nervous as well. Sorry it's so long.

Does anyone know if the new application packet they sent out this week is accurate/ the updated version? Also I have taken Algebra and Stats, but I made an A in Algebra and a C in Stats... does anyone know what grade they would use or if there would be a way to request my algebra grade to be applied instead of the Stats grade on the application? One other question, for spring are we still using the sociology class or will they use the chemistry class, I am trying to figure out where I stand so far point wise...

Can someone tell me how much time FSCJ gives us for the Hesi? Did they provide scratch paper?

For the hesi you get 4 hours, there are like 5 sections, you can take as much or as little time in each but you only get 4 hours (i finished in 1 hour 20 minutes).

If anyone has the new packet i would really appriciate you emailing it to me, i recieved one a couple of weeks ago but was told it had too many errors and that it was being thrown out but have not recieved a new one yet.

i am also nervous about us being the first batch of people, i dont know if it betters or worsens our odds but i really hope we all get in!

Hey everyone. I will be applying for the Spring 2015 also. I am taking the last of my prereqs now. I am going to go to the Deerwood campus maybe tomorrow to try to get my hands on the correct information. This whole switcheroo is very confusing and frustrating. I hope there aren't any issues with who gets in and who doesn't as far as how the scoring is going to be done. I already took the NAT in May. I am scheduled to take the HESI after the end of this semester to give me a little time to study. And I need to get CPR certified still. I'm not really nervous, just anxious and excited to get the ball rolling.

Does anyone else have kids besides me?

I emailed the nursing department asking a few specific questions and to see if they sent me the correct packet. While I was reading it I noticed several things that did not collaborate with what I have been told through the department. I emailed them last week and have not received a response. Before I send it to you, I want to make sure it is the correct packet.
