  1. ATTENTION GENTLEMEN.... ..and ladies. lol Nothing in the mail. Mail man stalking to be continued. P.S. For those of you applicants who are reading these comments looking for who is applying with what scores, I'm applying with a 190.5 and I have a friend who applied with a 186. Hopefully we both get in, it would be nice to walk in seeing a familiar face. Good luck to all! Cody.
  2. Thank-You, but I went to North Campus this morning and the correct one. =]
  3. I went to North Campus and spoke with Cheryl this morning. I was able to get my hands on the new packet and ask her a few questions. The deadline for spring will be OCTOBER 1st. The dates/deadlines they have in the new packet go into effect starting January 2015. Chemistry is the new requirement and sociology will no longer be accepted as of spring. They have already changed it on the degree audit for this term. Also, if you have taken MAT1033 along with a higher math course, they will take whichever class you scored higher in. I made an A in College Algebra as opposed to a C in Stats so she said they will take the A toward the point system. The same rule applies with any humanities courses anyone has taken. If you have taken multiple HUM courses they will take the highest grade. These are the only two classes this rule applies for. One other note, if you plan to apply elsewhere and want to use HESI A2 scores that were taken at another college and apply it towards the FSCJ program, you may want to check with the testing center at that location to make sure the two HESI A2 tests you are taking are the same version. Otherwise it may not be accepted.
  4. I emailed the nursing department asking a few specific questions and to see if they sent me the correct packet. While I was reading it I noticed several things that did not collaborate with what I have been told through the department. I emailed them last week and have not received a response. Before I send it to you, I want to make sure it is the correct packet.

  6. Hello Does anyone know if the new application packet they sent out this week is accurate/ the updated version? Also I have taken Algebra and Stats, but I made an A in Algebra and a C in Stats... does anyone know what grade they would use or if there would be a way to request my algebra grade to be applied instead of the Stats grade on the application? One other question, for spring are we still using the sociology class or will they use the chemistry class, I am trying to figure out where I stand so far point wise... Thank-You!!
  7. Does anyone recommend any study material besides the study book they have in the book store?
  8. I am planning on spring 2015. I applied for the previous semester but I have not received a decision yet. Unfortunately I do not think I will be gaining admission due to my NAT scores being low. I emailed the department asking when they plan on sending out letters and they didnt answer me. Instead, they sent me a huge disclaimer email telling me NAT scores will no longer be accepted and that they changed to the HESI A2 exam. The price has gone up. NAT was 35$ and now the HESI will be 95$. My issue is that when I spoke to the department three weeks ago to deliver my application I asked them if there was going to be any admission changes to the spring term. They said NO, HESI will not go into effect until after January. They told me my NAT scores were still good for spring term. I am going to north campus tomorrow to confirm all of this, it is not even changed on the school site yet. I have three months to study for a new entrance exam now... hopefully its the same information and hasn't changed in regards to the material. Does anyone know of any other changes they may have neglected to tell us about? Sorry for ranting
