  1. That sucks! I was really rooting for you. I can't believe there are so many people between my 180.6 and your 178. That's only 2.6 points. Amazing.
  2. Oh, man. You were so close. That's too bad. I hope you keep trying and don't give it.
  3. Congrats! Boys are awesome! My four are all boys.
  4. FYI: FSCJ has daycare scholarships you can apply for to pay for daycare for your kids as long as you are utilizing the on-campus day care center. I don't know the specifics but I will be looking into it.
  5. I remember reading about this on boards from previous semesters. Not everyone gets their letter on the same day. I have my fingers crossed for all who haven't gotten anything yet.
  6. This is me too! I used to be a CNA then I had our first child, then started my prereqs to go into nursing, then got pregnant again and dropped out of school. After baby #2 I became a stay at home mom, then came #3, then I started going back to school and had #4 while in school. Now I am finally going to be a NURSE!!! I am the other one who has 180.6 points. I'm pretty positive you'll get an acceptance letter.
  7. I had 180.6
  8. Thank you. Thank you. Hello I'm so excited. My family really needs this.
  9. I checked my mailbox for the third time just now and I got my acceptance letter.
  10. Yes they are but I am still hopeful. I was told that for every 144 seats to be filled there are anywhere from 300-500 applicants. That's a lot of people that don't get accepted. Plus there are plenty of people who aren't on this discussion forum. This is my plan of action: if I don't get in this semester, retake the HESI and apply for summer. If I still don't get in, apply to Lpn program then LPN to RN bridge program. And then i plan to eventually get my bachelors and maybe masters. It will take longer, yes but sh*t happens. You just got to roll with the punches. :)
  11. I have checked my mail twice already and nothing at all, not even junk, which is unusual. But I really have no idea when my mailman comes. I have to go out later when my husband gets home so I'll drive up there and check it again just to be sure. My score is 180.6
  12. There is some really helpful stuff on there. I even saw a board recently that was nothing but white shoes ideal for nursing students. Sounds crazy but I found it helpful.
  13. Does anyone else have a Pinerest board for nursing school study aids or am I the only one?
  14. Darn. Wow that's not a lot of time. Well, I have to go out again to pick up one of my kids from school so I'm going to check again when I get back. Before I was all like whatever, I can wait. Now I'm like OMG it is killing me not knowing
  15. Congrats to everyone, by the way!!
