I thought we had to get our white uniforms at Meridy's? I ordered from there, but if we have the option, I would look somewhere else. Anyone know?

I bought mine at the outlet as well but I got the "Koi" brand. I really liked them and they fit well. I typically wear a size 8 in pants and I got a small.

I bought nurse mates right before I graduated and now, after being on them for 7 months on the floor, I wish I had different ones. My feet always hurt at the end of the day. A lot of people at my work have Nike Shocks and they seem to like them. During nursing school, I had just plain white Nike's and they were great. But wore out after the little time that I used them.

I recommend Dickie's juniors scrub pants from Life Uniform. They fit the best for me, and I am petite.

We have to get our tops from Meridy'd but you can get the bottoms from anywhere.

trying to register for fingerprints.

this site: http://fscjstudent.sofn.net listed in the packet, i can't get on it... is anyone else having trouble?

I just called someone from north campus about fingerprinting. I was fingerprinted in January 2009, and also had a background check. I understand that I have to have another background check, but I have to be fingerprinted again. It's frustrating to have to pay for that again when my fingers haven't changed.

I AGREE 100% I just the same thing less than a year ago and even had to do a FEDERAL background check since I hadn't lived in FL again for 5 years. I wish they would accept this. Right now it just feels if you cut me open, I'd be bleeding dollar bills. Oh the price of getting what you want in life. Oh well!

You can click on the SafeSupport/FCCJstudent link when the error message pops up. It will bring you to the registration page where you can input your info and select an appt time and date.

I checked both threads before asking this but, does anyone have the days/hours for the Northside Medical Clinic?And is it possible to post the address (or is that against the rules)? Sorry, I'm just getting started and y'all are all a few days ahead of me! :lol2:

When you go pick up your chain of custody from the Administration bldg on North campus, you will get a second form which will give the address on the first page.

Financial aid!!

Okay so I thought the hard part was getting accepted to nursing school...turns out just getting a loan (not a grant) is turning out to be extremely difficult. In fact I was told by a FA counselor today 'not to get my hopes up'. What?!@ Yes, this is my 2nd degree but come on...no help for those of us who pay it back? (I have the 150% rule). I have two weeks to give my two weeks notice to my employer and right now without minimal loans I can't afford to go to school. :( Help...someone???
