I just turned in three of my four applications :uhoh3:, and I'm already sweating bullets! Just thought I would start a support thread for those of us impatiently awaiting results for the Spring of 2008.

I just received an acceptance phone call from my advisor for the Nursing program at BMCC for Spring 08! I'm so psyched! As a mom of three little girls and a full time office manager, I spent two years just on my pre-reqs, but it was well worth it. Congratulations to those who made it, keep trying to those who didn't and good luck to those still waiting to hear!!

i got my acceptance letter last friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i start my adn program next month...spring '08! :balloons:

Ok, I posted on this thread a lil over a month ago saying I got a letter that said I didnt get into nursing school, but was on the alternate list......WELL I got a phone call yesterday afternoon and a spot has become available and I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!:w00t:Im so excited, but I start in a few days and I have absolutely NOTHING!!! lol, CONGRATULATIONS to all who have been accepted and if you're on the alternate list, dont give up, u may be next in line!!!!

I also got the call on 01/02/08 from Mr. S's Office. I got accepted for the evening/weekend program. Which program did you apply for?

Hi! I applied to four different programs, one of which is CNL program where I will get a MSN, another is aan ASBSN, the others are regular BSN programs.

Because they start at different times (summer vs. fall) I find out in both February and early May. Ooooh the agony and the pain of waiting! :specs:

Sweating bullets is an understatement!!! I will not find out if I have made it in for spring 08 until Oct (end of next month). I have been setting on pins and needles for the last four months. Here at my school, there are only 32 open seats and I just found out that there are 80 applications so far. Sweat, no, I am soaking wet:lol2:

I hear ya! There are 32 open slots at my college and about 90 people are applying for those 32 slots. I have no clue when I will find out if I made it into the program. It's just so hard to wait and wait and wait and wait. Where's the fast forward button?

Well, one of the BSN programs I applied to said no, I would need one more class which I could take over the summer. I really want to get into one of the ASN programs I applied to. So the count down continues.............

I've just applied to an ASBSN program close to me. Should hear back around the end of February on if I got in or not. I'm banking everything on this program so far... but if i don't' get into I'll need to start looking into other schools further away. i don't want to move if i don't have to!

I sent one app out at the end of June and won't know anything until mid-October (27 spots/100 or more applicants). Sent another app out two days ago and won't find out about that one until late October (40 spots for over 300 applicants) And, am sending another one out Monday (also 40 spots with over 300 applicants). I think I have one more place to apply at the end of this month as well.

I've been on pins and needles every day for the last few months! I check my email several time a day and almost attack the mailman every afternoon!

I'm also on the same boat as everybody else here. The school I applied to sends out acceptance letter on April for Fall 2008 semester. I can't wait. I just need to submit my official transcript by end of January. I'm keeping my fingers cross. I'm also crossing my fingers for everybody here. Good Luck!
