Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome Concept map help
Hi, I need to do a concept map for my patient. She was the donor twin with TTTS. My maternity, med.-surg., and peds. book are greatly lacking in info on this subject. I'm having a hard time coming up with my concept map. I need help with the nursing assessment, patient care sections, and patient/family teaching sections of my concept map. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone starting HACC clinicals in January?
I'll be starting clinicals at HACC's York campus in the summer. I am so excited! Is anyone here familiar with the professors there and how they are? Also, does anyone know somebody that might be interested in selling me their HACC student nurse uniforms?

For all of us who are sweating bullets waiting on acceptance/rejection letters...
Thank you. I got into HACC here in York, PA. I have a 3.6 GPA. I was a pharmacy technician for 3 years, right after I graduated with a BA in English. Two years later I realized two things: first, I really missed patients; second,I should have went to school to be a nurse. My mom--a BSN-RN--is really excited that there will be 2 RN's in the family.

I just got my acceptance letter yesterday in the mail! My face aches from all of the smiling, grinning, and giggling I did last night. I am both scared and excited at the same time! Congrats to everyone that got in.

Second Degree BSN or ADN
No, I don't think an ADN is a waste of time. I have a BA in English and I am currently going back to school to obtain an ADN. I'm not going for the BSN now because I needed a part-time evening program that I could mold around my work schedule. None of the BSN programs in my area could accommodate me as well as the ADN program at my community college. Besides, the community college was far less expensive and had better NCLEX-RN pass rates than the four year institutions in my area. Once I have my RN, I figure I can always take online classes or enroll in an RN-to-BSN or RN-to-MSN program. Have you checked to see if there are Accelerated BSN programs available in your area?

I hear ya! There are 32 open slots at my college and about 90 people are applying for those 32 slots. I have no clue when I will find out if I made it into the program. It's just so hard to wait and wait and wait and wait. Where's the fast forward button? Good luck!

Hi, I am pre-Nursing at the HACC York Campus. I just applied for summer clinicals this past month. I hate waiting to find out if I made it in or not. I can't wait to get started! Good luck to you.
