For Ms. Suzanne and anyone who are applying for Illinois..pls help.

Hi! I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines. I really decided to join this website because I have so many questions in mind that is bothering me right at this moment. This is regarding my plans of working in Illinois. I will be taking the CGFNS exam this July. In God's grace to pass, I'm planning to take IELTS exam and apply for an NCLEX examination. I would just like to ask an advice from you if what exam should I take first? Is it the IELTS or apply first to NCLEX? And how many months does this application will be approved by the Illinois BON? Because I've heard from my friends that it will took us a couple of months for our application to be approved by the Illinois BON for us to take the NCLEX exam. Is it true? Thanks ahead for your reply... God bless!!!

Responded to your same post under another thread, look for the answer there.

Hello there!

Can anyone tell me what should i do if my application online with CGFNS can't get through because i need to fill up the part for the license verification. I don't hold a license so i have no data/info for that. I can't proceed to the next step. Please i need your help here. Super thanks!

I hope I could, but there's some sort of choices which you have to use to proceed and I can't just put "n/a". What should I do? And then I can't proceed for the next step without filling this up. Btw this is thru online application. Thanks for your responce.

a friend had the same predicament in using the online application. he resorted to using the paper application and mailed it.

Thanks kiko88!

Maybe I'll do that too. Btw did the payment really increase for $50? Coz when I register online it automatically add $50 for the processing fee of CES.

Hello again. I seem to have hit a snag in completing my license by exam application for Illinois.

In the instruction sheet, it says that in completing the CT-NUR form (license verification), the applicant should direct the licensing agency to return the form back to the applicant so that it can be sent together with the rest of the application form. However, on the CT-NUR form itself, there is an instruction for the licensing agency to not return the completed form to the applicant but sent directly to CTS.

Could someone please help me with this? Or, is the CT-NUR still needed even though there is the CES already?

give the CT-NUR form to PRC. then, they will be the one to send it to CTS directly.

has anyone here applied for illinois without taking and passing the toefl and got their application approved? because i got my application approved and cts is telling me to register to pearson to take the nclex and i haven't taken toefl yet. is that possible?

Hello again Kathy,

The CT-NUR form only lists the NCLEX for RNs and PNs. Can the PRC official simply make a note on it and write, "local board exam"?

Thanks
