Ok, I know we should be frugal after we graduate and invest in retirement, pay off debt and student loans, etc. However, for a little fun, what kinds of things do you look forward to buying after you graduate and are working as a nurse?
For me: a Dyson vacuum cleaner ($500) and a set of NARS blushes ($200), the best blush on the planet. I've also been fixated on buying a Mini Cooper:
I suspect I'll buy the Dyson and NARS, but the Mini Cooper may just not be a good financial choice.
So what do you all want to buy?
When I graduate, my husband will be starting nursing school. First thing we will do with any extra money not going to bills will be our student loans. Once those are all paid off, I would love to get a boat!
I really just want to be able to come to a place in our lives where we no longer have to put off paying bills to buy groceries.
Provided everything goes well with NS and I get a job... here are main things I wanted to do.
-Buy a NICE car... seeing as I don't even have one right now! I'd most likely buy an Infiniti.
-Rent a NICE apartment or small home. I'm way too young to think about buying a house.
-Start dressing the way I want to. No thrift stores, cheap clothes, etc...
-Get a gym membership
-Take me and my family on vacation. It would be my first time going out anywhere.
-Pay off student loans and fix my credit ASAP!
Welllll since you asked *Pulls out long scroll*
lol j/k
I'm looking into buying a house NOW. Houses are so cheap now. You can buy a 3/2 townhouse for 75,000 and the mortgage would be cheaper than what i pay for rent. So maybe that but when I graduate I really just want to pay off this damn 60,000 that I already have in student loans and hopefully whenever I get my NP I can afford to by an Aston Martin. Whoo!

Kayaking around glaciers, camping out for a week without seeing a single other person, and yes the fly fishing is amazing, as well as seeing the animals. One of these days I'll get there :)
