Ok, I know we should be frugal after we graduate and invest in retirement, pay off debt and student loans, etc. However, for a little fun, what kinds of things do you look forward to buying after you graduate and are working as a nurse?
For me: a Dyson vacuum cleaner ($500) and a set of NARS blushes ($200), the best blush on the planet. I've also been fixated on buying a Mini Cooper:
I suspect I'll buy the Dyson and NARS, but the Mini Cooper may just not be a good financial choice.
So what do you all want to buy?
Many of us suffered through driving old, unreliable piece-of-crap cars during during school. I did. The first chance I got, I qualified for 0% financing on a brand new car, and I have been in new car ecstasy ever since.
Exactly. I went from that scenario to having none at the moment. Hopefully by next year I can buy 2 $4500 hoopty that will last through school. I'll gladly pay a monthly car note if it's my dream car.
Well let's see....for myself...I want a boob lift,a tummy tuck and lipo...( having 4 kids really does a number on your body)
Then I want to pay off all the bills...get a new house (bigger), a vehicle all 6 of us can ride in comfortable...go on a well need vacation...put up for kids education...buy a boat, and some motorcycles. A couple of nice purses and shoes for starters
Most definately have a House keeper and A COOK so I NO LONGER HAVE TO DO IT !!!
What??!!! No one else's dream car is a Prius??*hides in the corner*
kudos to you for wanting a Prius, I really like the fact that is hybrid and all but I just don't like how it looks, I can't help myself... Maybe if there will be a new model that I like the looks of... then I'll consider it... right now all I'm hoping for is that they start making the cars I want in hybrid by the time I'm ready to buy it...

maybe 'cause it's much more affordable than a house, and when you're starved for money, you want to spoil yourself, but can't afford a house yet...
On a serious note though my first priority when I'm done school will be to pay back the student loans A.S.A.P. and take a vacation. Then car, house, kids, etc, etc...:)
