Ok, I know we should be frugal after we graduate and invest in retirement, pay off debt and student loans, etc. However, for a little fun, what kinds of things do you look forward to buying after you graduate and are working as a nurse?
For me: a Dyson vacuum cleaner ($500) and a set of NARS blushes ($200), the best blush on the planet. I've also been fixated on buying a Mini Cooper:
I suspect I'll buy the Dyson and NARS, but the Mini Cooper may just not be a good financial choice.
I started working in 3/08 after graduating 12/07.....with my first paycheck I bought myself a beautiful Gucci bag ($500) & a pair of Gucci Sunglasses ($375). Certainly a little materialistic & definitely costly.....but after all that hard work I think I deserved it!!!!!

Ha I wont tell you how much I spent on a watch I got after I graduated from EMT school. Still the best one I own but man sticker shock! Its nice to spoil yourself from time to time
i'm the type of person who has her money spent in her mind before she gets her check.
That's probably why I'm always broke lol.

Add me to the shopping addict/ label wh0re list. I'd love nothing better than to be able to walk into a fabulous Chanel boutique and purchase a new bag, and some coordinating jewelry- perhaps the classic chain belts and a bracelet cuff. If I buy all that on the same day, that will be more than my monthly paycheck! I am pretty sure my first RN check will go to the Mastercard/Visa company! Hawaii can wait, it isn't going anywhere LOL.
