OMG! So I haven't been on this app long; but I have yet to see anyone talk about repeating a class. I actually started nursing school in the summer; brutal! Unfortunately, I did not pass fundamentals! It was very upsetting. All those study hours, tutorials and late nights of stress and study sessions and no nights out! However, this semester re-taking it made all the works of a difference!
Yes, it sucks watching your real cohort moving forward without you....but I have learned to keep on moving! I thought to myself oh gosh I failed funds? There's no way I'll pass med-surg, peds etc!
I feel ready now more than ever! & I know a lot of us are taking finals right now...& if you are one of the students who may have to repeat fundamentals or whatever class please do! If this is what you want to do and it's in your heart...it can be done! Please don't give up! You will want to; but take this as your sign. You will learn so much from yourself and your full potential :)
I am so happy that this class is out of the way and I am so ready to dominate the rest of my courses. Take a failure as a challenge, to get up, wipe those tears and try again. I am fortunate enough to choose my career and I and I hope you all get through this process! :)
You can do it and good luck to everyone with finals

Great tips and feedback laurenbianca10. Thank you.
Thanks everyone! Just wanted to remind everyone that there is a light at the end of the tunnel ?and to never give up. Giving up is easy, getting up and doing something about it after is the hard part. Good luck to everyone again with finals and their nursing path :)
& yea fearless leader! I agree...me time is something I will have, finally without feeling bad lol I live by a beach; it's not the best but it gives me the tan and relaxation I need :)

Congrats on passing!! It isn't easy. Fundamentals was a huge wake up call for me that this would be totally different than my prereqs were and I would have to put more effort into studying to get the grades. My prereqs honestly were easy for me. The only one I had problems with was micro at the end. DNA transcription and transduction got me and I ended up with a B in that class. But I was also taking A&P II at the time and that was the class I needed the A in to get into the program. But I honestly didn't put hours into that class. Now I have to study differently and more. I have assignments that can't be done in 10 minutes so it was a wake up call. Now in med/surg I, I am finally getting into a groove. But I am totally ready for the semester to be over and take a break!!! I want to sleep in and not get up at 5 in the morning!!

Congratulations!! I am right now in finals week! I am failing my Pathophysiology but I never see happy success stories!! I am glad to finally see one! I can't wait till Fall 2015 because I am going to restart and be a whole new me! I wish I could do it next semester but that isn't how my school does it sadly..... It is going to be hard to return knowing my friends will be graduating and I am just starting but heck I don't care. They love me know and they will still love me then!! But I have to go write a paper! Eepps! Congrats again! Nevergiveup!!! Hence my name!
Heather, that's awesome & yes it was quite the awakening. Pre requisites do not prepare you for this; as far as study habits! I'm glad your doing well as well and good luck with the rest of your semester I know medsurg isn't easy
Nevergiveup, love your attitude :) you can do it! It's gonna be hard but once you get into nursing school and are introduced to new learning experiences, patients, fellow nursing students it's amazing and worth the fight and hard work you have been doing good luck to you!
