Nurses General Nursing

Published

Most of us, most of the time, love being nurses. Secretly...if money wasn't really an issue...and you did need to work somewhere doing something...what "do you want to be when you grow up?"

If money was no object, I'd actually want to be an administrative assistant - someone's secretary! Answering phones, greeting people, stuff like that...crazy, I know.

What about you?

And please....sincere posts only. Let's keep it clean.

Specializes in my patients.
I happened one day to care for a patient paralyzed from T7 down (hands OK, legs and pelvis out). While doing that all and listening about endless diatribes how her life was empty and miserable, how she was lonely, had nothing at all in the whole world to do except to Facebook 25/8 I was daydreaming anout one dream of my life. I will most probably never come to this because I never have time. But if only I would be so free with my time...

1). Learn ancient English. One of the very few European languages pre-Christian epich we know how to speak, and it just sounds AMAZING, somewhat like Elvish.

2). Go to University of Chicago, the best US institution for medieval studies undergrade

3) . Enjoy the science. Design clothes in my free time.

Oh, dreams...

Maybe this is why some people play the lottery...a chance to do this for real... :)

Camming.

Oooooh, you devious little poster, you!

I make special occasion cakes on the side

Hey! Me, too!

Ok...can we please stay away from the Media industry and the near-naked employment options? I can't believe that I need to state this...really people...

Thank you.

Professional Crocheter.

Spend a lot more time with my family

Make more quilts

Read a lot more

Work more on my volunteer boards (nursing, nursing ed, Scouts, STEM)

Research and teach re nursing diagnosis and how to teach it better

Spend a lot more nights camping in my sweet little tent

If I were pie-in-the-sky-ing different paying work, I'd say river guide (I almost did this once) or forest ranger.

Work with or care for animals in some capacity.

Love this :)

Specializes in ER.

I would like to work in a plant nursery in the warmer months and a ski resort in the winter. Part time of course.

I would be the director of the largest no kill animal shelter in the U.S.
