Hello everyone!!

I recently received my eligibility to write the CRNE from SRNA. I need help from anyone who knows where to apply for employment. I have over 15 years of hospital experience in ER...please share!

Happy holidays..

May I ask when did you submit your application for eligibility to SRNA? I submitted my application June last year and until now I'm still waiting for the checklist.

Thank you.

Good day.:)

I am applying for an immigrant in Canada. Fortunately, i have our medical request already. If everything will go smoothly, i am planning to fly to canada early next year. but before that, i am planning to apply as a registered nurse in Ontario, Canada while i am here in the philippines.

i understand that we need to apply to take the nursing exam (CRNE) in the regulatory body of the chosen province. In my case, i chose Toronto, Ontario since my sister is residing there. So i need to apply to the College of Toronto to take the exam right?

i visited their site and initial registration was shown there:

Initial registration

According to the legislation governing the College — the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) and the Nursing Act, 1991 — you must register with the College of Nurses and be a member in good standing in order to practise as a nurse in Ontario. The initial registration fee is $171.73. There is no expiration on your Certificate of Registration. To remain a member of the College in the following years, you must pay the annual fee of $122.66.

My question is, do i have to pay the $171.73 as my first step? Please correct me if i am wrong. Your reply will be highly appreciated. :)

There is no such thing as the College of Toronto you are applying to the College of Nurses of Ontario. You are not applying to sit CRNE but to be a registered license nurse in Ontario

You will need to complete requirements for International Trained Nurse

Fees including taxes are as I see it on their website as

Application for RN IEN $678.00

Registration for CRNE $464.69

Once passed CRNE license $184.81

Annual membership when renewing and maintaining license is $132.01

Seven requirements for becoming a nurse in Ontario

HI! I'm from the philippines and just migrated last July this year and will submit the assessment forms to CNO before the month ends. I was wondering what requirements to pass. My mom's friend told her that I need to pass forms B1 and B2 signed by PRC. I don't have these forms in the assessment package that CNO sent me. Please enlighten me. And what's the next process? I hope I can hear some replies and detailed responses because I don't have anyone to ask to. Thanks. May God bless u!

Because your post does not have any practical, clinical or other connection or appeal for the average nurse in Canada I have moved it into an existing thread that discusses the topic you've brought forth. The Canadian Forum is not for discussions about immigration issues; most nurses working in Canada have no idea what your'e talking about.

It's the Verification of Registration form to be filled and sent by PRC (do not submit this yourself), there's a window at PRC that take care of this. You can opt for their express mail if your in a hurry. You can ask CNO ([email protected] 416 928-0900)if its not included in your package. Wait for CNO email for next process. Check this site http://www.cno.org/docs/reg/44036_RegAsNurse.pdf. Best regards.

thanks Jamby! Am I right? Is it forms B1 and B2? I will call CNO because its not included in my assessment package. Thank You and God bless!

HI Jamby,

May I ask, Is it the same form that you need to send your nursing school where you graduated, The Verification of Course completion and Transcript request form? Thank u!

Jamby,

I already called the CNO and they have a new process now. I don't need to pass these forms anymore. Thank u for your help and response. Godbless!

Good for you!! you're very much welcome, goodluck.
