  1. don't reply to my messages/threads again. you are unwelcome
  2. thanks for the correction. i forgot that nurses can only exist ON the Earth's crust, and not IN it, mantle, inner and outer core. prepositions still confuse me after passing the IELTS. maybe i don't deserve my grade lol!
  3. i was deceived by the long expired+dead American dream huhu
  4. in my country it's not about the experience, it's about the "backer". lol! so technically, that's a yes for your question backer: politics, connections
  5. hi! i just wanna know what did you do to finance your stay in australia while waiting for 81 days for your AuRN license. are you employed now? many thanks!
  6. so what should be the term?
  7. hi! thank you for your reply. so nurses needing doctor's order for medication administration is implemented only because it's the law? do you think that the knowledge of doctors and nurses regarding drugs are the equal? i think so. IF ever i'm correct, if both parties have equal knowledge of drugs, i think the law should be changed
  8. i'm just curious, when was CAS scrapped and replaced by BP? i haven't heard of BP back in 2008 when i was a fresh NLE passer
  9. hello filipino nurses! do you guys and gals know any pinoy nurses who are seriously seeking nursing employment in australia? when i say seriously i mean ielts and 1-2 million pesos. i encourage my rle group, previous classmates, and co-nurses to start their application abroad, but when they hear about the "2 serious requirements", they lose their interest anymore. from my section back in college (48 students), only 1 went to australia via student visa. so far i've only known one who is really serious about the australian dream. everyone still wants to go to us, canada and middle east. also, do you agree that australia is not a popular destination for pinoy nurses? i believe this is partly true because some (or even majority) are having trouble with either their english or finances. i would really appreciate feed backs on this one too. i'll ask again, do you guys and gals know any pinoy nurses who are seriously seeking nursing employment in australia? anyway, if anyone of you are interested, here are the basic requirements: for bsn only or rn (no experience) + ielts below 7: get 1-2 million pesos (easy? hard?) enroll directly in an australian university with the course bachelor of science in nursing post registration (1 year) then bachelor in nursing (6 months). after finishing this course (on student visa) you will be considered a local fresh graduate of australia, you will be an aurn, and you can easily apply for permanent residency (pr). for rn with at least 3mos exp + ielts7777: get 1 million. apply for australian nursing registration through ahpra (australian health practitioner regulation agency). get 456 visa. take the bridging course (400k pesos). you will be then an overseas nurse with nursing registration in au. seek employment (don't be maarte lol!). apply for 457 visa then you are a pr. if you wanna be an aurn, please read this thread: new grad filipino nurse wanting to work in australia/new zealand part 2 - nursing for nurses if only i have known this right after passing the nle back in july 2008...
  10. cioman your really great! i'm amazed you were able to process everything in the Phil! break a leg! btw, how old are you?
  11. thanks for the info! my friend really told me that she took the HAAD and worked in Jeddah. what happened to her??? lol!
  12. "thank you for calling AHPRA, you're call will be attended to shortly" this opening spill repeated until it consumed 100pesos from my PLDT budget card. they don't reply to my e-mails to.
