Hello everyone....
I just received my ATT to test today... I am scheduled to take the NCLEX on February 8, 2010 which is about 3weeks.... I would like for anyone who is scheduled to take NCLEX in the month of February to share their stories and stradigies for preparing for NCLEX exam..... We can accomplish this together...
I am using NCLEX 3500. the Saunders CD & textbook as my resources.... I do 150 question in test mode each day... I use my school's library as my focal point for studying because being at home for me JUST DONT WORK:eek:. I love it because my schools' library has open access to alumunae graduates.... I know this may sound korny but I can't wait to take it... I know we can ALL do this together...
WE MUST STAY CALM, CONFIDENT, FOCUS, & POSITIVE on this journey to becoming an official RN:nurse:
found this from someone's old posting - http://flashcarddb.com/cardset/3990-nclex
pretty helpful!
Hi Everyone,
I will be taking my NCLEX-RN on Feb 24
I was thinking about doing the NCSBN thing, can someone tell me if it is just questions or is a review also??
I am reading Saunders and doing questions everyday. I'm just having a hard time staying motivated, so I figured if I did a structured online review it would keep me more focused. I've taken Hurst last summer, and was thinking about doing their online review as a refresher. I just didn't want to sign up for NCSBN and Hurst at the same time if they are both comprehensive reviews.
Thanks

you're my new bestest friend....this stuff is great, much more challenging than saunder's, mosby's or lippincott's. thanks for sharing!!!
I take my exam on Feb 8th... I have been using Kaplan review book with CD, and I also went to a testing site and I took a 50 quest. test for free. I got a 73 or 74%... I believe they recommend an 80... also I signed up for a free online review for test taking stradigies, etc. in addition... I am doing questions from NCLEX 3500 100 - 150 questions, and I am half way through the Saunders book.... Today, I decided to take a little break and start back again on Saturday at my school's library.... It tends to get overwhelming sometimes... I don't know much about Hurst review... But if you can check Kaplan out... they have some freebies available.... Hope this helps.... :)

Thanks. I actually created the study guide; basically patched together bits of info from a bunch of the NCLEX threads.
