Is it too early to start a thread like this? LOL
I'll be finishing up my pre-requisites this fall, and then applying in the spring for the Summer 2010 session. I still need to study for the NAT and actually take the exam and take a CPR course. I'm considering getting my CNA and trying to find work in healthcare to get my foot in the door.
I am so nervous about the whole process, nervous about whether I should try to work and go to school, and especially nervous if this is something I can handle. I am afraid of all the responsibility.
Anyone else planning for next Summer? What is your process looking like, what are your thoughts/feelings?
I just now opened my email and saw my acceptance letter! I'm stoked! I guess I gotta get on the ball with my stuff. I'm anxious to see who else made it but I have no time to read the last few pages... I've got SO much to do!!!
When did you get your email? Today or yesterday? And do you mind sharing your points?
Wilbur W,I guess it looks like it's next round for us... I'm also retaking a humanites that I made a "C" on in the early 90's and that will bump my 191.60 up by 6 points and I'm also retaking the Nat. Give me some tips on how you scored so high on the NAT, I ran out of time the last time AND lost my head with my nerves so didnt score as well as I could have. It's a bit disappointing but hopefully the Fall will be more promising for us. Good Luck maybe your 4 extra points will get you in after all....
I hope they accept your new class, I was told specifically that I could not retake any class I made a "C" in by an advisor. Although, she may have been thinking of the policy of retaking classes that were "D" or lower. Also she was at Kent and may not have had the best info.

There are several different humanities classes that you can take. If you made a C in one, you can register for a different humanities class. I did it. I had a C from over 15 years ago and just took another last semester and got an A.
JK you are right, I took an additional humanities and got an "A", but was wanting to repeat english and was told I could not.
Same story here! LOL
I watned to retake ENC1101 (have a C) and was told NO, NO, NO!!!! No matter how long ago it was. It is a Florida rule, not just FSCJ.....trust me. I tried to take it online with another school
So, I just chalked it up and retook the NAT! Which, by the way, I did much better and increased my points by 10 and I'm still able to retake once more before the fall deadline. (If I'm a no go this semester!)
