FCCJ Fall 2008

Published

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

lol...I'm posting alot on here. Anyways I was wondering what books are for what classes (I know that the Pharmacology book goes to the Pharm class, but have no idea what goes to the other ones). Thanks again everyone!!

We can do this, I'm sure it isn't as hard as it seems. Just focus on one thing at a time!

I agree. Just take it one day at a time...or one semester at a time.

Okay, so I just remembered that we were probably suppose to get an e-mail in regards to evolve and I haven't gotten one. Has anyone else??

Also I'm not working tomorrow and was hoping to get up early and go study at Starbuck's and Panera for a while tomorrow say from (9-3)..would anyone like to join me?? I'm going to either the one off of Roosevelt or Blanding. Let me know. Thanks guys!!

I must have missed something, but what is the "email in regards to evolve"?

In answer to your other question, about what books go with what... I haven't the foggiest idea... which can sometimes be a pattern with me.

molso001, I would meet up with you but I have two finals today, cant wait for them to be over! how far have you gotten in dosage calcs? and med term?

Girl, don't worry about it. You most def have enough on your plate. Two finals in one day is enough!! I'm midway through Chapter 2 in Med Term and almost done with Chapter 3 in Dosc Calc. I feel like I'm getting no where though. Ughhhh!! Oh well, one bite at a time.

lol..Don't worry about the evolve thing. I guess we will find out when we start classes. And since i don't know what books go with what class, all of them will be in my car on Tuesday. lol

im almost done with med calc, have to do chapter 13, but im having a hard time getting into med term....bunch of memorization! sucks, but im trying to get as much done as possible because when classes start im sure they will give us more to do ya know!

I was told by a 4th termer that they all split up the studying into parts for each person in their study group. I'm not so sure I could restrain myself that way, I'm sure she meant that each person learned that part well enough to teach the others. I was thinking that maybe each person could choose part of a chapter to make notecards for. Then when we study together, we can just share but we've cut the workload down a lot.

Hello everyone. Im in section 8 and wanted to see if anyone else is.

Wow - I just got back from a week and a half in NY and have been catching up on these posts but I just can't do it. Got my micro final exam tonight and I'm also picking up my book bundle. I'm feeling behind because with micro and sociology, I haven't done much with the nursing. Can't wait to get these other classes done. Classes start in less than a week - can't wait to make some friends.

Okay..so I was thinking about making plans for all of us to get together and study for these tests. I was thinking we could all get together Sunday, August 31 anywhere from 8am-5pm. What does everyone think?? We have that next day off for Labor day, so it wouldn't really take away from the weekend. Now we just need to pick a place.

I won't be able to get my books until tomorrow morning so I am way behind on the studying. However tomorrow I'll be a reading and studying fool. Anybody feeling the slightest bit of pressure yet?
