  1. yes, SQ is the same as subcutaneous :)
  2. How old are your little ones? I have a 3yr. old.She will be going to pre-school on the days that I have classes. I also work doubles every weekend, but I will shift to PRN once clinicals start. It's hard to study and focus when I am at home..there are so many distractions. So I try to go to Barnes and Nobles whenever I can--otherwise, i have to hit the books after her bedtime. I really admire those who have children and juggle school and work--It is an added challenge, but beneficial in the long run.
  3. After looking at all the recently posted documents on BB,for some reason, I became nauseated .
  4. Melanie, Please let me know what I can do to help. Don't hesitate :) God Bless You! You are an inspiration to many.
  5. I agree. Just take it one day at a time...or one semester at a time.
  6. I got the handbook printed out today. Thanks!
  7. I didn't get my handbook. Where are we suppose to check for it? I have a hard time contacting Emily, also. I have left her 2 messages on her voicemail. Any suggestions on how to get a hold of her? I have to go back to the clinic tomorrow to get my mantoux read and pick up the rest of my papers.
  8. I was also thinking of quitting my job --which is 16 hrs every weekend, but I will probably just hang in there til we start clinicals. My classes are on Tues-Weds-Thurs, so I think I will be able to manage until then.
  9. Yeah, the hubby shelled out so much $ today for my books, tuition, physical--etc.
  10. :typing I can't seem to find the videos for the dosage calcs...
  11. i'm sorry to hear that about your gma. we all have our stories to tell here, it seems. it's interesting to hear where you guys are all coming from. i have a lot to think about..but i believe that god doesn't give us more than we can handle. just have faith.
  12. Thanks for all your info! I am currently working doubles every weekend. I have been debating on whether I should resign or just go PRN. I know the first term is pretty hectic. What do you recommend? I also have a 3 yr. old.
  13. Thanks for the info! That's my game plan, to try to do as much as I can on Monday. My hubby is even taking off work just so he could drive me around :) Anyway, I am so excited. I could hardly go to sleep and I have to work doubles this weekend. I just typed up my resignation though :) The payment deadline is Aug 14th right? Do we have to pay the full tuition?
  14. I will be picking up my packet on Monday. ( I was one of the people that the nursing dept. had contacted to see if I was still interested in the program because of seats available)--I am trying not to psych myself out being that I only have X amount of days to get everything together. I was wondering where to get the background check--etc. I am also planning to get my titers, etc. at the clinic in northside. Can anyone give me the address to that clinic? Ms. James had given me the option of going to Baptist in Nassau ( Fernandina) or Memorial. I chose Memorial since it's closer. I was wondering when we will start clinicals..and if we will be rotated to other facilities? By the way, for all you mothers out there, especially-working moms who are also juggling with school..( I have a 3 yr. old) I have to hand it to you all !
  15. hey! I was one of your clients...I got called today from Cheryl--and I accepted the seat for the fall. I have a lot of things I need to get done. I am still finishing up my micro :) thank God my last day is next week.
