FCCJ Fall 2008

Published

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

after further thought maybe 10 am is sounding a little more reasonable, i mean we will still get it done , and there is no need to wake up super early to get it all done as long as it gets done ya know......(I havnt slept in in weeks)

lol..sounds good to me. The North Campus is a 30 min drive. Meet you there at 10. Whats your name?? I would hate to call you by dizern over the phone..haha.

I just realized that we would be driving in the opposite direction. So if meeting at the starbucks between total wine and publix at the towncenter would be better that would work for me to. Let me know.

Hey girl..Me and dizern are meeting up at North Campus tomorrow at 10am. Then we will prob car pool from there to the Northside Clinic. Hope to see you there!!!

Good night Ladies!!!

I'll see you guys at north campus at 10.

Hi guys, I'm heading right now to Northside Medical. I live in Macclenny so the odds of having people to carpool with are slim. I may not be able to make the Panera meeting because of my kids. If not, I'll see you all at Orientation. I know it's going to be tough with time and money but we can do it! So many people have gone before us (sounds like a movie). See you guys soon.

Looks like I'll be going to work this morning. I'll call you if I am still coming to north campus. Good luck!

Hey there. my name is lori and im new to this site. well im so glad that i got my letter today too! its great...i cant wait to meet everybody! :D

Welcome Lori! I noticed that we appear to be close in age, and we live near one another. I live in Chimney Lakes area. I have a 14 year old daughter... as I noticed the ages of your kids... they don't happen to be on the swim team do they?

Well, congratulations on getting your letter... it's a great feeling!!!

WaitingAUG08 don't worry, it may be today. I lived in kingsland GA, so I know that mail take a little longer. However keep your positive spirit on!

I wonder if the denial letters went out as well. anyway keep positive.

We are not on a swim team but my daughters would LOVE to be on one. My oldest daughter turned 15 and my son is 13, and my youngest daughter is 8. I just moved to oakleaf this summer. I am looking forward to meeting eveyone.

The place we are supposed to go to, to get our fingerprinting done, is rather tricky to get to. I drove around a four block radius for about 15 minutes. So, look for the black, wrought iron fence on the Union Street at Ocean entrance. There are no numbers on the building until you walk up to the door, so it was very fustrating. Good luck to everyone as we bust our booties to get this all done.

sooo I got my titers drawn, my physical, chest x ray, and drug test done, gotta go to walgreens to get a photo made, and then wednesday for fingerprints, all I have to do then is order uniforms, and sign papers and maybe a few more things but its all going pretty smoothly!!! met Megan today, sweet girl! it was kinda cool to have someone to meet up with to go to the clinic with....now I just have to disifer the sizes of uniforms........
