I am thinking about applying with them. Any experiences, good and bad welcome! Also, if you know of another agency that services upstate SC please let me know. TIA!

It would probably be best to talk with your local colleagues. YOu may find someone from SC here but maybe not.
I worked with them in the Denver area and was NOT impressed.
Better yet, talk with the facility / facilities you want to work with and see who they use and who THEY like. You will probably get the most help from the house supervisor. I know it is like working a little in reverse but it is worth a try.
Interview, interview, interview. Make a list of the agencies pros and cons and talk.
Good luck and let us know how it is going and how we can help.

I have worked with them for the past 3 1/2 yrs. recently I took a part time job because they have lost a lot of their contracts and don't seem to be doing much to get new ones. They pay better than other agencies but if you get cancelled a lot or can't work where you want because they don't have a contract it doesn't do you much good. I am thinking about joining interim and give them a try.

I worked with Favorite Nurses in Minneapolis and here in Wisconsin. I found them to be great. Never had any problems.

I worked for them a few times years ago and was not impressed, that is why I only did the few shifts. Their rate of pay is higher than most, but then they are the first to get cancelled. So that really doesn't help at all.
I would definitely look at another company...................... :)

What about Nurses RX and American Mobile?
I'm not familiar with either one of those. I didn't have problems with a lot of cancellations with Favorite Nurses. No more than any of the others. I also worked for Interim and Preferred. I thought they were both okay.

Totally agree with you, and American Mobile is part of the "Evil Empire". Nurse RX has been around for a long time, and have heard more bad than good, but never worked for them, as they could never find me anything!

Worked for them in Rhode Island. I was not impressed at all either. I had been warned by someone that they are not consistent and that is true. Feel them out and see. Don't forget that you can join more than once agency. That is what I did.

Did travel assignment with Favorite, I had no real problems, but I got to know local office and dealt with them. Rx was wonderful, try Medical Express and Medical Staffing, I did assignments with both. Good Luck. If you want local, network ask local agency nurses. Good Luck

Worked with Favorite out of Denver. I was able to get my hours no problem and I was only orientated to 3 of the hospitals at the time. There are always going to be problems with each registry and each office is different.
