Favorite Dr or Nurse Name

I've been having to hold my side while reading the "weirdest name you've heard a patient name her baby" thread.

It got me to thinking that I know lots of interesting dr and nurse names in my area.

We have the surgeon Dr. Butcher

OB/GYN Dr Box

Derm Dr Rash

and my favorite

Urologist Dr. Littlejohn

Ok, its not the name of a Doctor, but I couldn't pass this one up. When my friend was getting married in 1998, the name of the very handsome 30 year old pastor who was officiating the ceremony was ..... get this...

We had a Dr. Bonebrake...intensivist not Ortho (that would've been too good)

and Dr. Docter..cracks me up every time I hear that one overhead paged!

The name isn't particularly funny, except for the situation, but --

I started my nursing career, back before the beeper era, at a hospital that used overhead paging to page physicians to different floors, and also, to be tasteful, used "Paging Dr. Heart to (XX unit)" to announce a Code Blue. The system worked just fine until a Dr. Hart actually joined the hospital staff ... After that, the hospital operators began announcing overhead "Paging Dr. Heart to (XX unit)" for codes and "Paging Dr. Hart; umm, that's Dr. William Hart, William Hart, to (XX unit)" to avoid alerting the code team -- it was really entertaining to hear how nervous the operators sounded when they were doing this.
