Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

Yay! I just had my call returned from Danielle today, and scheduled an interview for February 14th.

Hi Viktoria! The website works for me, I booked the Shilo Hotel which is on the list of referred hotels-- about 10 miles from campus.

Here is the link for the hotels. They also have courtesy rates for Western U so make sure u mention the courtesy rate!

When she called me today, she gave me three options for the week of February 14th, so I'm sure when you guys get a call, she'll be able to give you those same options...I believe they were Monday, Tuesday and Friday or something like that.

No, more like ... if you were in this position, what would you do? or if somebody did something wrong how would you handle the situation... stuff like that. Nothing about patients more just about your past experiences and how you would handle things in different settings ... i guess. Sorry. Hope that helps.

My stats are 3.6 GPA (last 90 units) and I think a 3.4 in the prereq's. I have my bachelor's in Public Health. I also have 4 1/2 years of experience as and EMT in the emergency room (ER Tech). This is also my second time around. I applied last year and did not get in. My interview is tomorrow at 7:45 am. I live in Cali so I feel bad for all those who have to commute. Good luck with your travel (BTW I heard they did phone interviews for those out of state... might be a rumor though).

Hello Everyone,

Congratulations to those who are going for their interview and good luck! I have my interview set for the morning session on the 14th ... I just wanted to thank those for posting information on interview questions and what the process entails ... it helps to know, somewhat, of what to expect. =)

For those who already had their interview or will be, did you receive an email regarding more information about their interview day?? If so, how far in advance did Daniell email them? Hopefully at least a week before... just curious.

thanks Jes24. Your stats look great. I wish i knew what western is looking for. How confident did you feel in your interview last year? I feel that the questions they ask have no right or wrong answers.
