Fall 2011, what's your schedule?

Published

Hi, I'm starting my ADN nursing program in a few weeks. My 1st semester (of five semester program) will be:

Fundamentals of nursing (6 credit hours)

Fundamentals of nursing clinical ( 1 day/week)

fundamentals of nursing lab (1 day/week; 2 days a week the first few weeks until we start clinicals)

Health Assessment (counts as 1 credit hour but is scheduled for 3)

Pharmacology ( also counts as 1 credit but is scheduled 3)

I'm excited to see how it will all work. I wrote down what I think my schedule will look like and I was able to find about 23 hours a week to study. I hope that will be enough! My schedule is officially only 9 hrs total but we were advised against working, especially full time, and have most or all of our "co-reqs" done. ( I have all of them out of the way). I don't work but I am a mom of 2 which keeps me pretty busy. I've also been "couponing" for a while now, and I would like to have 3-5 hours to spend on that but I didn't see where I could squeeze it in...we'll see.

How about everyone else? What will your first semester look like?
